Bert's Custom TackleBudget Cup Holder

If you order this, make sure you always have a Phillips screw driver on hand in your boat to tighten it down into your Berts Tracks. I wonder why they didnt just make it so you can tighten it down with an Allen screw LIKE you need to remove the end stops of your tracks. So now I need 2 tools to get set up instead of 1 Allen wrench. Other than that, it's fine, it works, nothing mind blowing, its a plastic cup holder and it holds cups and cans of liquid, as well as fishing lures :)

I am usually not a guy that writes reviews unless they are just. I gave Berts an email to improve upon this but they never did answer. Products junk , they dont even fit in the track without loosening the screw inside the cupholder so its hanging by a few threads then sliding in the track and tightening it. I guess its fine if you want to tighten it with a screw driver everytime you want to take it on and off the track . It could easily mitagated by putting in a longer bolt and spacer but Berts must not test their design. It would work honestly but I would like to take it on and off without having to tighten and loosen a screw.

I couldn’t bear to spend $50+ on a traxstech cup holder. So I got three of these for less than one of those! Yes, they are plastic and sort of ho-hum to look at. But I desperately needed some extra big cup holders for my Gatorade and just to store junk and odds and ends in. These are perfect. Reasonably sturdy.

It's as simple as it could be, and that's in its favor! I swapped the wide base for the "standard" 1/2" slot nut, and have no problems with it keeping tight on my kayak's track even with a tall-ish bottle. Reasonably thick molded plastic that should last. Buy it!

Well made alternative to Yak Attack model or Jackson model and 1/2 price. This did not fit either track, so had to return.

Fit my Cisco tracks very tight but a tap with a rubber mallet worked fine. It's large size Should fit almost any cup diameter you have. Will work great for small fishing items also, (sinkers, pliers etc. ). May want to drill a drain hole in bottom. Overall just what I needed.
