I ordered this Runcati Mens Kaftan Thobe Button Down Casual Henley Shirts Long Sleeve Robe Cotton Linen Muslim thobe for my teenage son.Earlier this year, I got my husband a long thobe that he wears like a nightshirt. (It does double duty; with a hat, it can be a Gandalf or Dumbledore or Merlin costume.). My teenage son asked me to keep an eye out for another thobe for him, he liked the look of dad’s.This thobe is not quite long enough to be a nightshirt, though my son says it makes comfy pjs over boxers. (He could probably get away with wearing it as a nightshirt, it’s just a bit short for a man’s nightshirt.) It also is a great shirt. My son says it’s great for lounging around, he wears a coat and tie to school every day, and tends to wear tees on weekends, he said he loved this shirt because it was as comfortable as a tee but looked much nicer.I ordered this in white; it is made of 70% cotton/30% linen. My son says it breathes well, the fabric is a touch thin, but it’s still pretty warm here in NYC this fall.The thobe has embroidery around the neckline, it is sort of a pale straw color. The neckline has four buttons running up to a banded collar.I ordered my son a size XL. He’s not quite 6’ tall, and weighs about 200 pounds; he’s built big, not heavy. He’s got wide shoulders, a broad chest, sturdy legs. The XL fits him nicely, the thobe comes down to around his knees. My son prefers to wear his clothes a bit loose for comfort; he usually wears a men’s 44 jacket, which gives him a bit of extra room. The XL was loose and billowy, he was very pleased with the fit.The fabric is very slightly rough, I’m not sure if there is some manmade textile in the mix, or if the cotton/linen will soften with time and laundering.

Fits as described. Decent quality but need to follow cleaning instructions otherwise da,age or shrinkage occurs.

100/100Consistency. That's the word that comes to mind when I talk about Runcati thobes. So many places nowadays seem to have problems making two larges the same. NOT at Runcati. I have several Runcati thobes and the sizing has been uniform and consistant . . . so has the QUALITY.These thobes are very well made. The stitching is nice, tight, and strong. Buttons, etc. are sewn on tightly and well. Button holes are well made and finished. Hems and seams are straight and tight. Quality. Now, every new garment has a few loose thread pieces, so I won't say you'll never find one . . . but I seldom do find loose thread bits on these.Size wise, if it helps, I am a man about 6' tall and about 210 lbs. My chest is broad at about 50". A Runcati thobe in XX-Large fits me perfectly.Ultimately, is it worth the price? YES!

I love the way it looks and fabric feels great.Its fitting is nice, perfect and sizing instructions are helpful.It has got a minimal design on its chest which is perfect as I am not too much fond of designs.The color is dull olive green and looks nice as well.All in all, I highly recommend!

OBSERVATIONS FROM MY USE • The material feels airy and breathable, with a decent amount of moisture wicking. Did not feel hot wearing this shirt in low 80s weather. • The texture is slightly slubby (uneven) but I think that visually enhances the fabric as opposed to a super smooth cotton fabric (see pictures). • The material feels a bit rough on the skin, not sure if its because of any residual ironing starch or due to the cotton/linen blend. From some research I did, this blend is supposed to get softer and more absorbent after each wash. Not sure how this shirt was dyed so planning to hand wash at least initially in case it bleeds color. • The size measurement based on their size chart was spot on - the fit turned out to be excellent.Overall absolutely thrilled with this shirt.
