Not impressed
I received this kit today and have to say that I was disapointed. I purchased an emergency fishing kit by Uncle Flint some time ago and I was really impressed, not so much with the survival kit. Lets start with the container itself: IMO every item in a survival kit should be useful. This container? The bottom is soldered on so it can't be used for cooking or boiling water. Button compass should have a loop on the back so you can attach it your clothes or gear. There's no wire saw. The knife is WalMart quality and wasn't sharp. I could go on but all in all? I think this kit is over priced and you'd be better off building your own.
