Incredible vac/mop combo
The media could not be loaded. Life changing. Just a note if you are looking at reviews. Some of them are not for the N30 Omni Pro. This is an incredible product.I upgraded from a iRobot J7 with no base or mopping. I had no where to go but up. I have a one bedroom apartment with tile, carpet and laminate floors so I needed something that was equally good on all surfaces. I didn’t want to spend more than $500.00 since I don’t have pets and I just needed something to use in between cleanings with a steam mop. I read all the best of lists and reviews I could find for an about a week. I was able to narrow it down between the N30 Pro Omni at $499.00 and the Eufy X10 Pro Omni at $699.00. The Dream L10s Pro Ultra Heat and the Mova P10 Ultra were also contenders. So happy I went with this one. The unboxing was easy and getting it ready for first use was almost painless. I had already downloaded the app and it walks you step by step how to connect to WiFi and then connect the N30 to your phone. The mapping was so quick I wasn’t sure it worked. The app is fantastic and it was a really easy to name rooms and divide them into zones. The ability to customize the cleaning runs is a game changer for me coming from another brand. The first cleaning I did was on carpet and it picked up the fuzz from my black gym socks that my old vac used to drag all over the carpet. The second run was in my bathroom and it worked flawlessly. The edge clerk g was fantastic. The third run was my kitchen. In thought it had missed something but it actually came back and cleaned under my kitchen island at the end. I love the vac and then mop setting. It went back to the station to clean the mop pads I. The middle of the run which was nice. The empty dustpan is loud. I wouldn’t use it late at night if you share walls with neighbors. The hot wash an hot dry function is very nice. You definitely hear the fan when it’s drying but it’s like white noise.I don’t know how I made it without a vacuum/mop combo. Definitely glad I waited to get one with the spinning pads. I did get the liquid cleaner and added 2 caps to the clean water tank. I’m using purified water in the water tank just to keep everything clean.Time will tell how durable it is. I did get the 2 year warranty just in case. The only thing g missing is a camera for obstacle avoidance, the function that removes the mop pad if you only want to vacuum and the swing out edge brush. None of that is worth paying double.I would definitely recommend this if you want most of the top of the line features at a midrange price when it’s on sale.

ECOVACS DEEBOT N30 Omni – A Reliable Powerhouse from Day One
From the moment I unboxed the ECOVACS DEEBOT N30 Omni, I knew I had something special in my hands—but I didn’t expect it to impress me this much. This was my first experience with a robot vacuum and mop, and I went into it with high expectations—and honestly, I pushed this little machine to the extreme from day one.I live in a home that sees a lot of foot traffic, dust, and pet hair, so I immediately put the N30 through some tough daily cleaning cycles. And despite the demanding conditions, it performed like a champ. It vacuumed thoroughly, handled corners better than expected, and the mopping function left my floors with a satisfying, streak-free shine. What stood out most is its reliability and resilience. In the first two weeks, I did need to do a bit of maintenance (mostly cleaning the brushes and checking the water tanks), but that’s completely expected with heavy use. What mattered was that it kept delivering solid results without skipping a beat. The self-cleaning and docking features worked smoothly, and the app made scheduling and monitoring super convenient.Even after the initial “breaking in” period, the N30 Omni continues to give its all—cleaning thoroughly and navigating my home smartly. It’s honestly like having a little cleaning assistant that never complains.I highly recommend the ECOVACS DEEBOT N30 Omni to anyone looking for a hardworking, intelligent vacuum and mop combo. Whether you’re a clean freak or just want to save time, this device is up to the challenge—even if you start off using it in the most demanding way possible, like I did.

Way too many issues, buggy software, and the extra "PRO" oscillating mop has stopped oscillating.
The pros:It vacuums and mops, doesn't really do either all that well but it's good enough for maintenance but you'll still need to do a deep clean from time to time (especially mopping), so it cuts down on the work my wife needs to do.Cons:The programming/software needs a lot of improvement! The map feature is ridiculous to try and zone, we managed to make it work but it's not how we want it because the program would not let us end a room where it should end. It's not very user friendly. The Deebot regularly can't find the base after cleaning. I've witnessed it run over the base several times while vacuuming (I suppose it's not a shape it recognizes to avoid), but can't find it when it's time to charge. It also has issues knowing which floor it is on, I sure wish there was a way to tell the app which floor it is on instead of the need to use the locate button, which rarely works. It runs out of battery and has to return to the base but can't find it, then you have to go and find where it ended up, you'll really enjoy this if you like playing hide and seek. The cleaning path isn't logical at all, it will clean one room, then go to the other end of the house to clean another room, then come back to where it started to clean an attached bathroom, then go back to the other side of the house for another room. This is probably why it regularly runs out of battery before finishing.More times than not, it can't locate itself even with strong wifi, so I have to use the auto start feature and hope it figures out where it is, which really stinks when I just want to vacuum one area.Even when it figures out which floor it is on and starts cleaning it shows the charging unit in the wrong part of the map. How is this possible, it starts at one point and knows it was charging there but then shows the charging station on the other end of the house. Then, the robot can't find the charging station later. The programming could be MUCH better and I certainly would like to see more firmware updates showing the company is working on some of these issues. We paid extra for the mob attachment and the Deebot drops the attachment every now and then.We paid extra for the mob attachment and the Deebot drops the attachment every now and then, we haven't been able to figure out why. We know it's attached securely but it will just drop it while cleaning. Our laundry room is tiled and is beige with an erratic brown splotched pattern. The Deebot can't tell the difference between the brown pattern and cat poop. It's spread poop all over the tile floor more than once.Lastly, we still have to vacuum regularly because the T8 isn't nearly as powerful as our whole house system but my wife is a bit of a clean freak and appreciates it for the maintenance aspect. Just know that a deep clean is still necessary on a regular basis and you'll still need to vacuum stairs!Update:We are at the point where we have some sort of issue every time we run it now. I really should give it one star but am giving it two because my wife loves having her vacuuming cut down even if the Deebot is a pain to work with. I wish I would have gone with another brand, this will be the last Deebot product I purchase unless they are able to fix some of the issues. The location service is a big part of the frustration!Update 6/11/2021 - Our Ecovac has been so irritating, one thing after another - programming is horrible, the unit can't find the charger, get's stuck spinning in circles with no obstacles around, and now the oscillating "PRO" attachment has stopped oscillating. Support is a joke, do yourself a favor and shop a different brand.
