Works an advertised. Easy to install and even easier to use. Need to get another for the front door.

After locking myself out late at night and having to pay a hefty fee for a locksmith, I decided to invest in a smart lock to prevent that from ever happening again. Locksmith actually recommended it and said door handle locks pretty much provide no security and that it’s the deadbolt that actually matters. If you have no handle lock, there’s no way to lock yourself out unless you used your key then threw it away. This lock has been so convenient and helpful. You have so many options on how to unlock your door and how to let others unlock your door (temporary codes, one time codes, etc). We have a lot of eufy items and haven’t been disappointed in any of them, this one included. Material and durability both seem great. Wasn’t too tricky installing it either if you’ve done doorknobs and locks before. Highly recommend this!

I bought two of this for my front and back doors. Installation was a breeze. Both locks are connected to the Eufy app (as well as an Eufy Doorbell camera) so both me and my wife can control everything from the app. I also set a code for my son in case he wants to come while we are out. I like that you have the flexibility to enter using the app, or a code, or a good old-fashioned key (in case the batteries run out of charge). The lock seems well-built, and sturdy.

I had no trouble connecting it to the app and it functions well. Wish it had a rechargeable battery.

I wanted to give this 5 stars but really it needs some work. I have four of these locks on four entry doors. Two of these were easy to set up. The one at the front door would not connect to WiFi even though the signal is strong throughout the house with three access points. I had to trick it by moving next to the access point with the lock not installed but powered on. Then I installed it and it seemed to work I have two networks. I wanted all the cameras and this lock on the same network. One of the locks would not connect to the primary network but I was able to get it connected to the secondary. Yesterday the garage access door lock worked but was "offline". I could not get it back on line. First thing I did was change the batteries...even though this has been installed for less than a month. Reinstalled and the lock connected just fine.Another not ready for prime time design feature is that before I installed this lock there was a deadbolt lock and a doorknob (lever) lock. When you replace with this set up you get a locking deadbolt but the door handle is just that.The convenience is really great (as long as it works). The lock lets you know when the batteries are tired by beeping. I didn't notice anything about this in the install instructions. The beeping woke the wife up at 2AM and then I got to figure it out. Googled the beeping and sure enough the batteries need to be replaced. I tested each of the 4 batteries and they were at 50%.The hardware looks good but it would have been nice if it was offered in burnt nickel or other color choices. Still black does seem to work.I like that the locks are tied into the same app as the cameras.Overall I would buy again.

I have been searching for Wi-Fi smart locks that provide a variety of features, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. I can confidently say that Eufy is the solution I was looking for. I have purchased six different locks and cameras for my non-profit property, and they are amazing. They are durable, packed with features, and offer unparalleled convenience and safety compared to other locking systems. Don't waste your time looking at anything else. You have found the best!

I bought this lock because of other Eufy locks that I have and this one does not work anything like the others. You put in the code and it doesn’t update. Then after playing with it for about 30 minutes it will update. All my other Eufy locks notify me immediately when they’re activated or open/lock but this one does not. Not sure if it was a fluke or just not working properly. Can’t use the lock.
