BOB Books: Developing Readers Workbook

Bob books readers and activity books have helped my little one learn to read better than anything else so far. She has fun reading them and it has helped her to be a confident reader. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

I like it because it is easy to use with the readers and you don't have to be an expert or teacher to help your child with this program. My child is experiencing success and enjoys using the readers and this workbook.

Good learning tool

The workbooks are colorful, cute, and enjoyable. You need to purchase the 3 sets of storybook boxes that accompany this workbook; they are entitled: Word Families, Complex Words, and Long Vowels. Each section of the workbook corresponds to one of the reading books inside the boxes. So the child has 8 workbook pages to practice reading, writing, and sounding out the new words that he will be reading within the book that complements that section of the workbook. It is a really well thought-out strategy to enhance a child's reading skills.

Such a great companion to the reading sets! This keeps my child’s attention and is easy for us to whip thru a couple pages to keep her sharp during the summer.Only reason for knocking off a star is I would the pages to be perforated for easy tear out.

I'm very I pressed with these books! I bought all three and my son loves bob books so correlating work sheets help a ton. We have been using abeka for homeschooling which he hasn't loved but he actually doesn't fight working out of these books! Just wish I found them at the beginning of the year instead of the end! Perfectly correlates with the bob book readers.

We really enjoy using the books along with the readers. The lessons are brief with a good mix of coloring, short writing practice, fill in the blank and word search. Honestly it is the only thing I can get my kindergartener-1st grade to do on her own.

Highly recommended thrift books and every time when I buy my books it’s fully new so I very happy 😊

Good for knowledge and for practice to improve writing

I'm an American with a Japanese life and my 7 year old son was born and raised here in Japan.I've bought a lot of English study materials, and the Bob Book series has been uniformly excellent in every way. 100% recommend.Note that my kid at least wasn't self-directed enough to study by himself, except a few days he sat down to read the Bob Books. Instead, we had a mini "English Class" about an hour a day and worked through this material.

This book was a great workbook for our K-1er. It progresses at a good pace and has fun activities for kids to do that encourage reading and becoming familiar with the sounds of different letter combinations in a word.

It's a very nice workbook. It has lots of fun activities, and my kids really loved it.

Amazing books and box sets to help my child really learn to read. Much better than RAZ kids. These books help the kids see the word families to make words and sound them out. If your homeschooling in Ontario Canada these are amazing for the kids struggling and having issues with wanting to write. My boy loves to read a book and do all the pages in the workbook.
