Amtech C1505 130mm (5") Curved jaw Locking Pliers

I bought this as a replacement for one (different maker) bought some years ago. They are very handy for small jobs around the house and I like to keep a mole wrench in the "tools drawer" in the house. The old one always had a habit of springing open all the time and was a nuisance - so it went into the metal recycling bin and this one was bought. So far I have been delighted with it: it adjusts easily has a good, strong grip, the "teeth" don't strip as with some other offerings on the market and, finally, it doesn't spring open in the middle of a job!

After a while of using these, I finally used then on some toughrt jobs. These are pretty grips, but the adjuster seized and the metal is starting to distort. If you don't use your tolls with force, these are ideal, look good and function, but I have had t revert to older cheaper grips now. These are no way what I call nasty "cheese tools" but are only moderately strong.

Bought to replace an old pair which had really paid for themselves, hope these will last the same. Sheared stud removed with this little beauty, no problems with this tool.
