LocisneFreezer Alarm with Audible Alarm and 2 Wireless Sensors, Indoor Outdoor Refrigerator Thermometer for Home Kitchen

A 'white box' (no brand names) system with 2 remote wireless temperature sensors. Sensors use 2 x AA battery. Display uses 2 x AAA. Everything seems very well constructed.Opening, installing batteries the two sensors read the temperature on my desk along with the main display unit temperature, all within a decimal point. I like THAT they all read the same temperature!I dropped one sensor on the floor from 3 feet - battery cover came off but on reassembly - still works great. Placed in my freezers and VERY GOOD wireless range as both sensors are inside my freezers and display unit is on my desk 20 feet away. I swapped the wireless sensors in my two freezers and they appear to be consistent.The display shows current temperatures of local and two wireless remotes. Display also shows the recent HIGH & LOW temperatures without need to press any buttons. It does not measure wind speed or humidity !I would buy another set to replace - this is one of those purchases which may not hold up if purchased later, buy yours today. This is NOT a paid review as I never get stuff for free.

I was skeptical as to whether this would work through the metal walls of the refrigerator, but it seems to do fine. Sensors are not really very sensitive, so they won't trigger the alarm if you open the door for a minute or two, but if the temperature reaches a trigger setting, they will sound. Measures the two sensors for freezer and refrigerator compartments, and the panel reads ambient temp. The alarm is not very loud, so you may not hear it if the fridge is out in the garage. But otherwise we are happy with it.

Once set up they work well. The base unit is a tad hard on the battery life...wish it had a port for external power plug in. The only other minor issue is the remote sensors have a large non- removable clip on the back. This works fine with wire racks but makes it hard to mount in most modern refrigerators with glass shelves. It would be nice if they were removable so you had a flat back surface and could mount them using Velcro or double sided tape.

UPDATE -- Total Trash! Less than 5 months use before it stopped seeing the 2nd sensor one at all! New batteries in both the unit and sensor. Sensor is 8" away from unit and still not seen!In the beginning it saw both freezer sensors, I could put the main unit in many spots in the house and no issues. I have replaced batteries, but now it usually only sees 1 sensor unless the other one is out of the freezer right next to the unit.

Great product for the cost, I use them in three freezers. I have bought into over the years. The batteries in the sensors lasted almost 2 years for me. I had to change the batteries twice in the display over that same time. Holds up to the extreme low temps of the freezer and reads very accurately. Great for the price.

Worked great for a couple months then one of the sensors quit working. Replaced the batteries with no luck

I am very happy with the alarm system. It is accurate and it is a good sounding alarm. My freezer went warm the other morning and it woke me from a dead sleep from down the hall.

It worked good for a few monthd and then one of the sensors died. Range isnt very good so monitoring something in a garage or basement may not work!
