This bread slicer works perfectly and as described. Slicing through sourdough is a breeze instead of using regular knives or even regular sourdough knife. Very good build quality must use if your regularly bake sourdough.

This bread slicer is a life changer if you are in the sourdough bread making. Before the slicer it was frustrating to cut the bread after putting all that work into it, and now it makes it so easy to cut nice even slices. Worth every Penny.

The media could not be loaded. I was nervous ordering it because I seen some reviews saying the blade was dull, but now having it I wish I would’ve ordered sooner. It slices bread so easily and doesn’t destroy my beautiful loaves. It has suction cups on the bottom to make sure the board stays put while you are cutting. It has a feature where you can adjust the thickness of the bread to your liking also. It’s super strait forward to use. And it comes assembled. My only nit pick would be that when you are pushing the bread toward the blade, there really is not a safety feature so you have to be super careful not to nic your finger. Overall great product and highly recommend.

This bread slicer is good. Suction to counter top was secure. Blade sharp. Adjustable knob freely allows for variable slice widths. Felt sturdy when in use. Color is nice. My only qualm is the hand crank is too close to the unit so that as the bread slice comes out it slides in the way of the crank and disrupts the slice flow and bending the slice. Needs a slice guide/guard. Not enough hands to push the loaf, crank the handle, and keep the slice upright while following through with the cutting causing the slice to bend into the hand crank. Easy remedy should the hand crank shaft be further away from the unit, and add a slice guide/guard to keep the slice upright throughout the cut.

Absolutely love this slice. Makes slicing sourdough and even softer bread so easy and uniformed. So worth the purchase.

I love this handy bread slicer! I have used it for my homemade sourdough bread. I make bread at least once a week so this little slicer gets used often. I have also used it to cut the tops off of a head of garlic, and that has worked well too.There does need to be some care taken near this blade. You must watch your fingers to make sure you're not going to slice through them! I move the guide over to make our even with the blade before putting it away so when I do there's no risk of me catching my fingers in it.The blade is sharp and does a great job cutting what I need to cut! You control the turning of the blade, so that makes it safer to use. It's nice and heavy; doesn't feel cheap. The suction cup feet keep it in place while cutting.

Slices amazingly! But won’t stay in place. Would prefer if I could clamp this down to the counter. The suction cups don’t work.Works best on hard breads like sourdough. I use it for sandwich bread but it cuts a bit wonky.

So easy to use and cuts Dutch oven bread crust like butter. I would 100% recommend this slicer to everyone who has changed from grocery store bagged bread to homemade bread. It’s the greatest thing since sliced bread 😆
