China through the eyes of Arthur Miller
This 2015 edition of Miller's 1983 account of directing his play in Beijing has a new introduction that explains his impact in China. Miller's insights about the US and China are as relevant today as they were 40 years ago, and his partnership with Ying Ruocheng is inspiring.

not what I expected
Perhaps I should have read the description better, but I thought I was ordering a novel version, and the book turned out to be a play written in parts. It's a bit more difficult to read with all the state directions, but I'll trudge through it. Next stop, the classic movie!
