It’s smooth, not gritty, doesn’t smell beefy, and really makes a huge difference on my skin! I’ve been using it on my hands and as a face moisturizer - It’s hard to find a tallow that has the right consistency and this one really hits the mark. My husband even loves it too. He works outside and his hands are constantly cracking, so this has been a life saver. We’ve also tried it on various cuts and even a couple blisters, and it provides instant relief and quicker healing (I assume because of the calendula and plantain which are amazing additions!)A little bit really does go a long way, we’ve had this for over a month and still have lots left - basically, the more you use it the less you seem to need it!
