Easy to work with
Very soft and very workable. I used acrylic paint to color this clay just to get a preliminary base before going over the finished piece with a wash color. It was so workable that I was able to mold it directly to the papermache mask and once it was dried, it was so light in comparison to some air dry clay I have used.Like others have said, it does take a little longer than the recommended time to dry fully, so take that into consideration when preparing your projects.

Bright colorful
Was shocked at the vibrant colors and how full the little individual bags were. Easy to work with none were dried out. Definitely will order again

What an amazing product! So versatile.
In my wild hair projects, I tend to jump in before I'm fully prepared and while I was trying to build my Amanita Mushroom-shaped dollhouse, I'd already begun the project before I even began to consider what I was going to shape the exterior with. I wanted something lightweight, smooth and malleable, and for a while, I was considering papier mache or air-dry clay, but both of those are bulkier and heavier than I wanted.I searched for different materials and came across a cosplayer making something with foam clay. I thought it was a brilliant option and I was not wrong. To work with, it has the feel of soft marshmallow, but without the stickiness. I created a basic armature over the wood and framing with aluminum foil. I used the foam clay directly on that for the stem of the mushroom. It's really cool how it applies in a textured fashion, but sort of puffs up a little and smooths when it dries. The smoother you make it as you apply it, the smoother it will make itself after drying. I put two coats on each surface. For an even smoother surface for the mushroom cap, I added hat mulling, which is in essence, a thin sheet of wool or poly filler one uses to quilt with. I glued that onto the foil armature, and then applied the foam clay over that. It made for a nice, unblemished surface. It dries slightly harder than neoprene. It has a little give. It's sandable, paintable and super-versatile for a craft product. I can think of so many applications you can use it for. From costuming and cosplay, to models, miniatures, toy making and so much more. Excellent product. Totally recommend! It's not cheap. For the amount you get, it seems a little expensive. I had to use two tubs for this project.

Good- but troubles holding shape while drying
Overall super good! Easy to mold and sculpt with. My only complaint so far is that when drying, it can struggle to hold its shape. Especially if you use it over a large area and it weighs a lot, it will become pretty disfigured. Just be careful about the position you leave it to dry in to make sure that gravity can’t pull any heavy bits down, and check up on it every now and then.

Outstanding resource for building model railroad layout
MUCH easier and MUCH MUCH cleaner to use versus plaster-of-Paris in any application. Does take a bit longer to dry completely than plaster but no slop and no post-project mess to clean up. VASTLY superior in any vertical applications and can be molded to give any effect you might wish to present. I found that to reach full hardness it takes more like 4 to 5 days rather than the 24-48 hours advertised. But unless you are in a bind for time, that really isn't a stumbling block.

Doesn’t hold shape well
This clay was soft and easy to work, but for the larg-ish shape I was building it didn’t hold the fine details and got a bit distorted during drying. I don’t think I would use again for a shape that has relatively thick pieces. The “Bob Shrinker” head I’ve got pictures of was built around a foam egg shape, so actually wasn’t that thick. As you can see the mouth got really distorted, the nostrils collapsed (I fixed it a bit before taking the “after” picture, and the wrinkle details were lost a bit.

Great quality and size
I have never used foam clay before and bought this to try out. It worked great! Painting after dry was so easy, and I didn't have any of those pesky fingerprints that polymer clay sometimes has.

Amazing Foam for Crafting!
I bought this foam for my girlfriend to use in making clay models of animals and masks, and it’s been absolutely amazing. The quality is top-notch and it's really easy to work with. She loves how versatile it is, allowing her to create detailed and intricate designs. It holds its shape well and provides a smooth surface for painting and finishing touches. While it is a bit on the expensive side, there's nothing else quite like it in terms of quality and usability. If you’re into crafting or model making, I highly recommend this foam. It’s perfect for a variety of projects and delivers great results every time!

Buen producto
Me encantó.Nunca había trabajado con este material y superó mis expectativas. Eso sí, cuando se está secando se expande entonces tuve que hacer modificaciones con un dremel.
