You will out fish your fishing partners
Cast, wait a second, slowly retrieve, catch more fish than your fishing partner. It really is that simple. I use the brown and the rainbow trout in 3/16 ounce to catch my limit of trout almost every time I hit the stream. Everyone of my fishing partners that see me catch 2-3 times the fish they do immediately go out and order this lure. I was really happy to see Amazon start carrying these as my local bait and tackle store never has them in stock.

Rapala CD5 Brook trout
This lure is a "must have" for most of the trout fishing that I do. I fish for trout mostly on the Murray River in Australia, upstream of Hume Weir. The first time I used it I caught 3 decent sized trout within the first 20 minutes. I then proceeded to catch fish regularly throughout the day. I was on a float trip with a professional guide. As a result of the trip, the guide asked me to buy him 10 of these lures!

The Brown Trout in Oregon loved this lure! I caught more fish than everyone else on the lake that week. I simply tied this on my line without a weight and shore fished the entire time. Cast it out, wait 5-10 seconds (depending on the depth) and constantly reel in. I did not think this would work until I caught a 16" Brown Trout on my first cast! The fish only grew from there, glad I took a gamble on this one.

It is an excellent lure for catching perch in a river. We have used it every weekend since it was purchased and it is made of good quality materials.
