Saved us a lot of money!
The terminals burned off of our Goodman air conditioning compressor. The AC repair person quoted us $400 to repair the terminals and couldn’t guarantee the compressor would still work. We purchased these on Amazon and the fastest we could receive them were overnight. They worked great and the unit is back up and running. My only concern is that the wires on the Goodman unit are copper and the wires on the repair kit are aluminum. We would have paid the extra money for copper wires. Also, since they have “Amazon Now” in our area I wish we could have these with a 2 hour delivery. (It gets hot here in August.) However, we are very happy as this kit saved us a lot of money.

Lifesaver!
With this repair kit, I don't have to worry about my AC going out in the RV due to a failed terminal connection. I have recommended them to so many people to keep on hand just in case they experience what I did on a 100 degree Texas day.

If you have poor eyesight or fumble fingers
4 stars, would have been 5 if those tiny Allen nuts weren't so hard to get to and tighten down. This was the 3rd time the connectors fried on the compressor and I finally gave up on the spade type and went with these. It took a while to tighten down but after I broke the code on how to position them to get the right angle, they went on and the compressor is back to work heating the home. Saved me from having to replace the entire unit. If you have poor eyesight or fumble fingers, spend the extra $15 and get the ones that have a screw head facing out. But if you can see and can manage working with one hand (that's all that would fit into the tight space in the heat pump) then these are aces.

Excellent product enabling the compressor to live on!
Excellent product enabling the compressor to live on - even if a terminal breaks off! While some compressors are easy to get to, keep in mind, if installing in a tight compartment you may want to find other options as you must use an allen wrench to tighten Term-LOK onto the compressor pins.

12 guage wires not 10 guage as advertised/ordered...
Packaging and contents clearly labeled TLC-3-12 except for barcode which showed TLC-3-10 which is heavier wire and also what I ordered. Hope this was a mistake. Will return/reorder. Unneeded pain....

Contact points difficult to secure
The quality of the product is very good, however it is very difficult to tighten the contact points with the design of the screws.

Saved me several thousand dollars
The contacts on my compressor had corroded down to just nubs. I had tried soldering wires to them and every type of connector I could fine. Nothing worked. The entire unit is very old, but worked flawlessly, except for this. I hated to get a new unit simply because the contacts were corroded, but it was starting to look like that was going to happen. Then I found this product. It is designed especially for compressors with corroded contacts. Basically, you slip a metal barrel over what is left of the contact bar and use the Allen wrench to tighten a set screw onto the contact. Getting the allen wrench in there was tight for me, but after ten minutes, I was done. It has worked flawlessly ever since.

Bought these on recommendation from a friend that is an Journeyman HVAC Service person. Connections on compressor kept burning off. Happened 4 times in a 8 day period. The last time, one of the posts was burned off to about half it's length. I replaced all connections with these and it's been running for nearly 6 weeks without issue. Inlcluding during a week of 95+ temps. Was an inexpensive and easy to install way of getting another Season our of my old AC Unit.Be sure to file/sand the posts on the compressor so they are clean
