My mom has the high end one, amd I bought this one hoping it woupd be half as good. Its no different! Don't waste your money on the more expensive ones! My knives have been restored to better than new. And they keep their edge longer!

Amazing sharpener – my knives feel brand new! I love everything, the package is so cool and easy to take everywhere, It's super easy to use, and secure, just a few passes and you can immediately feel the difference. This will put a decent finish on the blade... keyword finish. If you have chips or very dull then this is not the tool, the stone grit is not for heavy grinding. You will need something else to get your knife 90% there. Once you have the 90% this works pretty good... with the exception the rubber 0-rings leave marks all over my white quartz countertop. They clean off, but not good when you simply want to keep your edge and give a quick touch up before diving into that roast. This will not remove chips in your blades! (well maybe if you have nothing else better to do for the next week and 1 half) The accuracy seems to be pretty good, I did from huge butcher knives to small paring knives just fine. I did have to make some small adjustments to the placement of the knife and actually contort on the smallest one, but I got it. What I recommend to make this a much better tool... Mark the stone grits... have to guess which is which. Change the cheap rubber o-rings for silicone o-rings Make something to better hold small knives offer 2nd block for large knives so they do not flex when honing. Give a coarse stone for those knives which have trouble cutting butter or have chips.

It sharpens knifes swiftly, but its always good to hone your knife after use!

Doesn't really fit my knives. Its fiddly and i don't really use it. Find for medium sized knives but the magnetic block won't work with pairing or karge chopping knives. The disc is small and dangerous without the magnetic block. I love it but consider the type of knives you have. Size really matters with this .

Awesome product. Works as advertised and does an amazing job. My hunting knifes were dull from previous hunting season, they are now sharper than ever. Easy to use product, doesnt take a lot of time. Would highly recommend.
