Pretty colors
Has many colors that I love. Has a timer so that can change for night and day and morning and evening

I put it on my 5 gallon tank and it looks amazing with it on

Good light but can’t use a smart plug with 24/7 mode like the older model.
Good light, but I prefer the older model with the more simple controller. This new style won’t work with a smart plug or external timer when using the 24/7 mode. The older ones will.

Nice light but with issues.
Nice light and I like the fact you can gradually decrease or increase the color level with the controller. Set up with nice bright white for the plants in one of my 5 10-gallon Betta tanks and just switch to blue light for the night using the in-line controller. HOWEVER, as I've found with several similar lights with similar in-line controllers, the 24/7 mode simply does NOT work. Hygger NEVER answers their customer service number and this particular model isn't even listed on their website so I'm wondering if this is a "discontinued model".In addition, I attached this light with the suckers to the underside of the lid of my Fluval Flex aquarium using its suckers and it kept dropping off. It only stayed attached once I smeared some Vaseline on the sucker pads before attaching them to the lid.Otherwise nice light, but it doesn't fully work in the way it's supposed to.

Geesh, how is something this good so cheap?
Bright, low-refraction lighting, easy to use controls, for the most part all around great.A few things, though:One quirk I see is that it aims down more than out, so even with it well-elevated over a nano aquarium there's a lot more dark spots in the corners than with the previous LED light I was using. Conversely, the parts it shines directly on (ie, straight down from it) are much brighter and clearer than before. Might be better to use two of these (with the brightness turned down a bit if necessary) if you're wanting a more thorough coverage. If you're wanting to spotlight the front of the aquarium, however, it's ideal.Another quirk is that the 24/7 setting doesn't allow clock setting to the minute. Which is fine, don't really need it that precise, but it might make it a bit awkward to coordinate multiple lights to smoothly turn on together if someone does decide to get multiple.A bigger issue is that the suction cups just won't hold. They did fine on my initial dry tests, but they just won't stay on the roof or walls of the damp/wet aquarium environment for more than a few moments before coming off. So other than being able to use them to stabilize the light if you're placing it on a transparent cover, I don't see any real use for them. Definitely look into a mounting alternative if you were planning on relying on the suction cups to hold the light.Other than that, nothing else that comes to mind to negatively point out. Rather, the rest is all much better than I expected, especially for the price. Definitely going to be my go-to brand from now on. <3

Misleading
A little misleading as the light does have a dimmer but only on manual mode. When in the desired 24/7 mode the light is stuck at 100% brightness, and there is no way to disable the 2hr moon light period ( great for algee) overall the light is good and grows plants well as I’ll show in the photos they are exactly one month apart
