It is a very simple white, thin plastic - but it does the job! We use it in a smaller utensil drawer, unlike some of the photos where they are putting it into the much wider drawers. The only thing to note is that when you put it into a regular sized drawer, it is technically laying all of your utensils sideways, not up and down. Doesn't bother me, but something to be aware of.

I have looked and looked for a drawer organizer for my tool drawer. They are usually just to tall or too wide.This one is perfect. You can leave it unexpanded for 3 sections or expand one or both sides to make 4 or 5 sections. It stays open and doesn't just slide back in unexpectedly.You can see that fully expanded (which is what I've done in my photo), not all the compartments are the same size. That's super good, for those items which might not otherwise fit in the other sections.Love it.
