I think this case works great for keeping my Pi 5 cool. It really keeps the heat off of my Pi 5, it was easy to put together, set up, and it definitely keeps my Pi 5 cool while running it for extended periods of time when considering how hot it was getting before. I just feel that it would be better if this case was made of metal, because I believe the plastic keeps in some more heat, and I think it can cause some very minor issues, but other than that, it suits all of my needs.

Plenty of thermal Pads to cover ALL the chip's and even with various thickness to insure the pads made contact. They also used nylon rivets to attach the fan assembly to the board. I found that better than others because it made it easier to plug in the fan. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the case parts come apart a little easier than expected.

This case dropped the temp of my Raspberry Pi 5 by 20°C, from nearly 70°C to 45°C! The case looks great, and keeps my Raspberry Pi nice and cool.

It was so easy to assemble. I liked that it was a solid case. Provided adequate cooling for the Pi.

This thing works pretty good. It isn't very sturdy and I doubt it would survive much of a fall but it works and the fan is really nice. I can't really tell if it keeps it cooler because its now in a case but the PI 5 definitely runs hotter than the pi 2 or 3. If I did it again I'd probably just go for the metal one but then maybe plastic dissipates heat better?

The ABS case has a very solid feel to it. The case came with a active cooler and several heat sink pads. I took a star off for two reasons. The case does not snap together. It has pegs and slots and they slip together. If you pick up the case or bump it you stand a change of the case coming a part. I which they would have some sort of snap to hold all 3 layers together. The suppies instruction suck. Go to wiki.52pi.com and slect model: ZP-0170. Their you will find detail instructions on the thermopad placement and the removal of the double backing tape. The cut-outs around the ports are spot on. Over all a good case for a decient price.

Make sure to remove your sd card before you break it into two halves. might know from experience however it didn't happen. the heatsink is high quality, screws work. make sure to use plastic screws on heatsink and metal on case. trust in the process, trust in me, AI is fire on pi 5. could use a jetson though.

I have one Pi 5 in the OEM case and another in this one. This one was easier to assemble and it includes more heat transfer pads than the OEM one. The box looks nice and even comes with some extra parts.

Since I am using the RPi as a media player is not generating too much heat, and this case fits the job perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. Good fit. Fan is silent. Extra thermal tapes provided.

This case dropped the temp of my Pi nearly 20 degrees! Previously 65 now 35 ish. Great build quality, and a perfect fit on the Pi5! Nice that it has easy access to the nvme port and SD card slot. It also works with display and camera cables because of the slit at the top of the case! Fan is quiet and seems to be very efficient. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a simple case to keep your Pi cool.

This is a very affordable and complete casing solution (Heatsink, Fan, Case). I really like the way this is easy to open without any screw to access the IO ports and others. Thanks!
