I just received it today. I have been so impressed by the whole experience so far. The packaging is gorgeous and it definitely protected my board in transit. A corner of the box took a hit, but it is clear my board never felt a thing. The box itself is thick and very sturdy, and it is lined with two different types of foam. The first thing I noticed before I pulled the box out of the shipping box was the weight of this work of art. It is HEAVY. I love it.The board itself is seriously just beautiful. The pictures do show it, but it’s somehow even prettier in person. I love that it has feet on both sides for the best stability and it won’t ever lay wet on a countertop. The size is just wonderfully massive- the width and length as well as the thickness, it is exactly what I was looking for.I am so excited to use it, care for it, and show it off!

Nice box, nice fit and finish. Matches my new magnetic walnut knife board. I like the rubber feet on both sides. Feels like it will last a while!!

Pro Great packaging, presentation, and overall nice wood board.Cons: Absolutely unacceptable for a product this expensive to not be well sanded and polished. Paper towels are catching on about 35% of the surface with random spots of rough wood that has not been sanded and polished properly. Since I don't want to play amazon tag with returns for a week and be screwed out of a cutting board I just bit the bullet and bought my own sandpaper and mineral oil, but at almost 200$ that's the last thing I should be doing: wasting my time. Very disappointing company quality control. Not a difficult problem to diagnose...just run your hand across the board prior to shipping...

i bought the edge 20" very heavy and looks amazing! this is the most expensive hardwood cutting board i have ever had. it felt smooth to touch and i polished with some home made beeswax for extra protection. I notice there a defect in the end edge on the back side of the cutting board. I'm a little surprise it was over looked during the gluing manufacturing . I'm sure there are natural marks on hardwood. However, since this is a cutting board i would expect it to be flat surface and no holes or anything that would easy harbor things. ebasically i want to use both sides of the boards as intended. and now with this unique small hole in the cutting board i will need to take take care when cleaning the board to make sure nothing is stuck in it. It's just this is an expensive board and a piece with a hole like that should have not been glued into the cutting board. otherwise it is very nice and thick should handle and hopefully last longer than my thinner cutting boards. Only time will tell.

Obviously high quality and almost too pretty to use. I have no complaints.
