It gets the balance right between being a 'fun' experience and the delivery of factual information that can understood and absorbed by younger children, without too much bafflement. Although as with all kids, expect some unexpected questions from leftfield! This part of an excellent series of books for this age group, explaining how the human body works, and this is a very good one at showing in a sensitive way how the human life cycle works. Definitely recommend. Review: This is a good book which my six year old has enjoyed looking through with me. It is written and illustrated in a way which is appealing to this age group and is probably useful for children up to about the age of 8 or 9. The book covers everything from baby in tummy right through to growing into adulthood. It has certainly encouraged my daughter to pose some slightly difficult questions to us!.... Would recommend.
