I use this for drilling out the carbon in the burner feed pipe on my 20 yr old Aga - its a twice a year event with todays kerosene - it cokes up badly.This means I can clear the whole pipe completely just leaving the burner to do...but that is another story and uses another tool...

Good overall. Again you need to give the tool cooling time. I used this drill to drill through 150mm thick railway sleepers but rather than powering the drill bit through all in one go I drilled a pilot hole first with conventional length bit. Then I drilled with this but I would feed the drill in about an inch then retract it so the swarf could clear first then drill again until I had drilled to the required depth.

I used this to drill through 8" of wood for a doorbell power cable. It worked fine. I am happy with the purchase.

Bought 3 of these to drill pilot holes in oak sleepers. Good quality drills and I am still using the first one,

I needed a longer bit to reach into a recess with my drill.
