Works perfectly, has quality-feel, app is annoying
Works very well. It was kind of annoying updating the controller with the app. Tried several times and it finally worked, but I don't remember what I did exactly. It works out-of-the-box without the app. I updated it after several days of use. It goes well with my poled screen phone. I do have to remove the case to use the USBC method, but I don't mind. I know other people do. It's a personal preference. I never dropped it or anything, so it's okay.

Great, comfortable controller that's better than advertised!
I was so close to buying a Gamesir controller for my phone, but I opted to save a few bucks and buy this one. I'm glad I did because this one is well worth the money. The customizations of how the controller responds to button pushes is expansive. This controller feels really good in my hands with less hand fatigue than others I've had. You can switch between Android/iOS mode to Playstation or to Xbox mode and games will recognize the controller as such. The only things that I wish I could change would be to turn the lights off on all the buttons instead of just the one button because they are bright. But I cannot complain about that when the rest of the controller is great! The controller feels durable and of great quality, and the flexible USB-C plug is so clever because I know some people break this on controllers. This was a great buy, and exceeded all my expectations!

Excellent Choice For My First Controller...
UPDATE: I mentioned that this controller doesn't come with an app to change settings but the MooWii gaming Android app recognizes this controller when it's connected and launches InkFish Game Space where you can make settings changes and button remaps. Whenever I buy something like this I do a lot of research on YouTube to find out what the exact features are and what the reviewers say. This controller got a lot of great reviews, seems to be on everyone's "list", and it was ultimately the price that made me choose this one. I mainly got this controller to get more use out of my Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and use the XBOX and XBOX Cloud Gaming Apps on my Google Pixel 7A phone. For those two things, this controller is perfect... it feels close to and is laid out like a regular XBOX controller. Plus, the two programmable buttons on the back are GREAT for shortcutting button press combos that you use often... I mean so far they work perfectly. The other thing that's interesting is you can press FN+X for two seconds and put it into XBOX mode where it's connected via the USB-C port or press FN+TURBO for two seconds and have it connect to your phone via Bluetooth and it will show up as "XBOX Wireless Controller" in the list of Bluetooth devices. I don't know WHY someone would need these two different XBOX modes on one controller, but I suspect it might have something to do with games that won't work unless you attach a specific "authorized" controller to your device... Call of Duty Mobile, perhaps??? The other modes you can set this controller to are HID, M Virtual, and Apple but TBH other than HID mode for native Android games, I'm not really sure when I would use the other two modes... the instructions aren't exactly clear on that point. BUT... since I'm using this specifically for XBOX and perhaps some Android games I think I got all my bases covered for now. As far as the build and function of this controller goes, the buttons, sticks, and triggers feel great... no problems whatsoever and the build is pretty solid - no complaints there either. The only negatives are that the USB-C connector is too short if you're phone is in a case and TBH who wants to remove their case every time you want to play a game? ... not me. The workaround is to remove the two rubber bumpers near the USB-C connector so that the phone in the case sits closer to the right side of the cradle. TBH, you really shouldn't have to do this... the controller should be designed to work with a phone in a reasonably thin cellphone case. The other negative is the lack of an APP to do any kind of customization. However because of the price, these weren't deal-killers for me. All in all I'd say that if you're looking for a really good-feeling controller that's solidly built and can handle native Android games and XBOX controller emulation, this one should be on your short list. If I start getting more involved with gaming on my phone, I can possibly see a time where I would want to upgrade to something with more features, but I'm glad I didn't spend the extra $$$ for things I don't really need right now.

Love it
Phone:Redmagic 11 pro Buttons feel great; slightly clicky, but not so much to be annoying. Just enough to let me know I actually pressed it (I'm looking at you, cheap membrane controllers). No stick drift, and it fits my hands waaaaay better than a Kishi or similar controllers. This actually feels like a console controller. If the power isn't staying on, search your settings for "otg" and enable it, problem solved. I haven't figured out the back buttons yet. My only 2 complaints are passthrough charging isn't quite fast enough to keep up with my phone, but my phone is definitely pushed harder than most, so not docking a star. Keeps my gfs S23 ultra charged while playing fine. Secondly, their app is wretched and the main reason why I haven't figured out the back buttons. Fortunately I have software built into the OS to manage the other buttons, but ymmv. I definitely recommend it. I was leery of spending 80 bones on a phone controller, but it was honestly worth it for something that actually feels this great to use. Just fix your software, guys, come on.

Not phone case friendly
To those who like carrying around a thin to no case on their phone.. this is for you. I'm a advocate of a 3n1 phone case... and it's too much for this remote to handle! Phones cost too much to just be carrying it around with no protection!

Nice controller with great d-pad, rough iOS app
The d-pad on the EasySMX M20 is more accurate than any other mobile controller I've tried so far (no false diagonals), which makes it usable for games that require precise 8-way movement. So for me, this makes it awesome. My only gripe with the physical design is that the USB-C connector is too short to connect when using Apple's iPhone 17 Pro case unless you remove the rubber grip on that side of the controller. There's lots room for improvement on the software/firmware side, and I appreciate the vendor helping me work through some issues here: - The app doesn't always recognize the controller on iOS. I've had luck making sure it's in the Fn+A mode and restarting the app when this happens. - The default LED brightness is too high for use in the dark. You can turn off the ABXY LEDs by long pressing Fn+Turbo (if you have firmware version 3009 or later; check in the app for an update if this doesn't work), and you can change the brightness of the indicator ring in the app. It's a little weird that you can't change ABXY brightness in the app, and that Fn+Turbo doesn't turn off the indicator ring LED. - The English version of the app is very rough. Lots of text is not translated from Chinese, and text that is translated is clunky and not well aligned with the associated UI elements.

Battery will last longer if you use Bluetooth for the controller in the phone

Bad firmware update.
Works with most games. Steam link and gamepass it good. Emulators are fine. Only reason it's not a 5 star is because I downloaded the app and updated and now it doesn't seem to connect right half the time. Takes plugging and unplugging. I went to the official discord for support and got told "don't update the device"..... ITS THE FIRST THING I DID. WHO GETS A NEW ELECTRONIC AND DOESNT UPDATE FIRMWARE WHEN ITS NOT FUNCTIONING RIGHT.. pretty frustrating because it's a really awesome controller. The buttons sound nice. Fits well in hands..... but what's the point if I have to fiddle for 15 minutes before it works... not sure where to go next so keep that in mind. Moowii gaming app is horrible DO NOT USE IT.

Comfortable and good quality
Great control, good quality, very comfortable, easy setup and easy connection. The only thing i didn't completely like is that the buttons are a bit clicky.

Best at this price but not the best overall
Overall, it's a great controller. I just wish it were a bit wider so it could also accommodate the iPad mini. It also seems to have an issue with larger camera bumps, like on my 15 Pro Max, which causes the phone to sometimes slide out of the grip. All in all, probably the best controller out there at this price, but there's certainly room for improvement. There are better options but those cost twice as much

Fantastic Mobile Controller – Comfortable, Responsive, and Ready to Game
The EasySMX M15 Type C mobile gaming controller has been a brilliant upgrade for my gaming on both Android and iPhone 15. The plug-and-play setup via USB-C is super convenient—no fiddling with Bluetooth or complicated pairing. It works seamlessly with cloud gaming services like Xbox Game Pass and Playstation, giving a proper console feel on the go. The hall effect joysticks and mechanical triggers are extremely responsive and precise, which really improves gameplay compared to touchscreen controls. The build quality feels solid yet comfortable to hold for long sessions. Plus, the controller is nicely compact and easy to carry around. Whether you’re into casual gaming or more competitive play, this controller delivers excellent performance and great value for money. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting a reliable, high-quality mobile gaming controller.
