I sealed the flange where my RV heater exhaust comes through the sheet metal body. Material filled the space, not too messy, (use tape) and set up firm and well adhered. Heat doesn’t soften it or make it run.

I actually used this to seal a GE Combo heat pump air filter. GE has a design flaw in these that allow lint to bypass the filter and get into the condenser. The fix is straightforward and involves using RTV high temperature sealant to line the secondary foam filter prior to installing the foam filter housing. There are a lot of YouTube videos on this fix. The only downside is that after 50 washes you have to redo the fix but the good news is there is plenty of sealant left in this tube to likely last a year of washes. As other reviewers have noted this stuff is hard to get off your hands. I also found it a tad bit runny compared to other RTV sealant I have used. Not terrible but it does making dispensing and runaway areas a bit harder to manage. 4/5 stars worthy for sure.

I hope when I use it, it will self level. Not really using it as gasket material. That's why only 3\5. Nothing bad about the product. So just use it as intended and I bet it will be fine.

This LOCBONDSO RTV silicone sealant works as it should. I used it for several small projects and have not had any issues with it. Bonus for me is that it is priced better than my nearest store (30 miles out) and is readily available on Amazon. This will definitely be my "go-to" in the future!

I've used permatex and loctite rtv, and I'd say this product is as good as them. It's a good value for the money. I do wish that the nozzle was clear plastic and not opaque black, but that's a minor thing.

I have some rubber seals coming off around 3 of the doors on my truck. I put this on last weekend to seal them back down. It dried pretty quickly and has been through the car wash and is holding great.
