It was for my 5 year old grandson. He loves Dinosaurs. The book has lots of pictures in color. It will make a good reference book once he learns to read and understand the meanings of the words.

Great dinosaur book! Totally comprehensive with lots of kid-friendly info. and pictures! My grandkids read it for hour and hours!

Only covers a few dozen dinosaur species, and some of the pictures look (smell) scientifically outdated and old-timey. But generally a pretty cool book. My 2-year old (a dino connaisseur) was lukewarm on it.

One of my students devoured this book ( He's 3)!!! Great pictures and information. We bought it used and it was in great shape.

Thought it might be too advanced for my 10 yr. old grandson but he appears mesmerized by it. It gives him the opportunity to "grow" into it.

It's a good book, as it tells you quite a bit about the dinosaurs that are in it. But, the only drawback is-it's a bit out of date since new dinosaurs have been discovered, and new theories as how some the cratures may have lived.

I used to own this book when it came out but had misplaced it this is an exact copy if a bit worn the price was good I have now given it to my nephew

My son loves this book so much I had to buy a second copy as he wore it out.

A very nice, large book with a ton of illustrations. Very concise and informative. It took a very long time to arrive, but now we are happy we ordered it.
