Slam Dunk, Vol. 1 (Volume 1)

I have a first edition first print with colour pages...Slam Dunk is my all time favourite manga series. Funny characters and wonderful art (as expected from Takehiko Inoue)I now have a new found respect for the sport.

I couldn't be more disinterested in sports if I tried, but I absolutely love Slam Dunk.Sakuragi, the main character, is a total jerk, but you can't help but want him to succeed.The action is amazing, the drama is tense, there are many moments that make you really feel for the characters, but most of all, it is absolutely hilarious. I don't often genuinely laugh out loud whilst reading any comic, but with Slam Dunk it's a frequent occurence.In short, buy this series whether you like basketball or not, it is great!!

The book is written back to front and my son found this quite difficult to get the hang of.

This arrived a lot earlier than expected; 13 days earlier. I was very happy about this because I got to receive it during the holidays lol. Other than that, the manga feels new and had no damage. I was a bit hesitant about buying manga from amazon again because the first manga I bought (from another seller) didn’t arrive in the best condition, but this exceeded my expectations heavily and I’m quite impressed. I’m also very excited to start slam dunk. I’ve read the first few pages and it seems like a very fun manga. Overall, this was a very satisfying experience!

The fake manga sellers will offer cheap price for the manga but don't fall for it as it's not original, make sure to check the seller rating before purchasing. However there are trustable and genuine sellers on Amazon who also offers cheap price (sometimes).I know some of the sellers who sells legit manga:1) Cocoblue.retail2) Uread_store3) GoodreadsThere are many good sellers on Amazon but according to my purchase, this three are the most trustworthy sellers in terms of manga. I never read or watched Slam Dunk when I was growing up. I picked this up on a whim and I'm really glad that I did. It's a hilarious manga following a guy who ends up joining the high school basketball team so that he could impress a girl he likes.If you like basketball or are a fan of comedy, pick this one up. I'll be scooping up more volumes for sure.
