I have bought Compatible Ink before and modern printers are chipped to stop you using cheaper compatible ink. I bought this, it was cheaper but not much than the original, and expected the printer to play up like it has on other occasions when I bought none manufactures ink. This one, I put in the ink cartridge as I would a genuine ink and low and behold it worked as it should. Would buy again, hopefully they will reduce the price a bit as it's too expensive for a compatible.

Works

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the brand Canon MG2100 ink cartridge. While it is compatible, and prints just fine - after installation, my printer STILL doesn't recognize that it's got a new cartridge. It keeps a light on the black cartridge indicator because it "thinks" it's almost empty; the light normally only comes on when the cartridge is almost empty.So, unless your print quality declines, just ignore that warning light.

The print quality is excellent.

Excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the ink cartridges did not print clearly on my printer, but the company was quick to respond to my issues and offer a replacement or refund.

It did as expected.

Look, we all know ink cartridges are expensive, but this discount business is not worth. I bought this cartridge and it just stopped working halfway through its capacity, because my printer stopped recognising it as installed. The print quality was passable when it was working, but would sometimes bleed or smudge - which wasn't a huge deal for my purposes, but still annoying. Eventually it just ceased to print altogether. Even cleaning it off and reinstalling it, running maintenance to clean the nozzles on my machine, etc. did eventually get the cartridge to be recognised... only for it to print blank sheets. It may look cheaper to buy, but if you've got luck like me remember that the advertised price is only for half a cartridge, and probably atleast a few hours of your time trying to make it work before getting frustrated, giving up, and having to buy another one anyways. I ordered it long enough ago, I know I won't be getting a refund either. If you're gonna be doing consistent printing long term, just buy the manufacturers version for 3-5 quid more and save yourself the cash and headache.
