The instructions were unclear and parts seemed to be mis-labled. Fortunately, we were able to assemble due to the simplicity of the design (not the instructions). Once we figured it out it was not too difficult to put together. The chairs are very comfortable and I do like the open slat design which is great for outdoors (after a rain, they do not retain water). Both are pretty sturdy.

Overall:I am very happy with the patio chair/table set. I emailed customer support about the issues and included photos. I got an almost immediate response back from Rita stating replacement parts were being shipped out. They were actually shipped immediately and in three days they arrived and were undamaged. I dread dealing with most customer support centers, but Rita from AlphaMarts (the company that brands/sells Phi Villa) exceeded my expectations. As such, if you find one of their products that you like, I strongly believe you can buy with confidence as they will immediately ship/resolve anything that isn't to your expectations. I believe build issues are common with furniture that is contract built. I can't blame AlphaMarts as the set is manufactured in China and it would be unreasonable for them to open each box from China and inspect everything. Especially knowing that the boxes/tape are essentially designed to self-destruct while pulling the tape off/opening.

This table and 2 chairs are defective. When assembling the chairs the screw holes do not match up to the seat. The arms are interchangeable, but the holes to attach the arms to seat are on the wrong side. The reason that this has not already been sent back is I had surgery on my shoulder and was under strict orders not to move my arm. When I was released from the surgeon on 7/12/2018 I opened the box. I still can not lift heavy objects for 3 months. I had 2 different men trying to assemble the arms to the seat of the chairs. Neither of them could do it. It is defective as the picture shows. The company that I purchased it from said they would gladly refund my money even if is outside the delivery time per email. Please refund my money Sincerely, B J MITCHELL

Easy to assemble, but there are flaws in the table top - noticeable bumps. I live on the third floor of an apartment, so returning this item now that it is fully assembled is very difficult. I cannot fit in my car either. I would have to completely take apart and deal with shipping back. The shipping box is crappy so I would have to deal with finding a sturdier box for a return. So buyer beware. Looks like seconds. I will have to hide flaws with a tablecloth now. Chairs are not comfortable, so definitely buy some cushions.

I finally am able to use our balcony! I was so excited to receive this in the mail and set it up. The set-up was pretty straight-forward, there were a few times that we needed both me and my husband to hold pieces. The end result is great. We wanted something inexpensive, sturdy and weather-resistant for our balcony. We also needed something relatively small; after looking around on Amazon, Walmart, Target, Ace...many other sites, we found this one and are happy with our decision. We bought the cushions from Ikea and they fit great. No complaints thus far.

It is made of quality material. The only thing I do not like is the comfort …so I ordered pillows which I am confident will make a huge difference. I would not hesitate to purchase outdoor furniture from this maker again - well worth the cost.

Bought this bistro set for a small patio space and am really happy with it. I like the clean, simple design; it’s sturdy; and the chairs are very comfortable. I added 20”x20” cushions (also purchased on Amazon; they are a bit big for the seat but am keeping) to make them even cozier, but they are comfortable without as well. The table has adjustable footies, which I really appreciate, since it sits on uneven brick. Assembly was simple, just make sure not to tighten the screws until you’ve fit every connection together hand-tight first. This is a very good value for what you get. It was the nicest looking set I found online and it exceeded expectations.

Nice set. However! We have had this set for about a month now on our outdoor porch it has rained 4 maybe 5 times since. It does rust. Assembly was aggravating but I have been through worse assemblies. Some of the threads are off set. I had to rethread at least 3 holes. It is sturdy and enhances our porch. The rusting is concerning.
