Where have these been all of my life?!
I am extremely impressed with how well these work for cooking potatoes, carrots, zucchini, peppers, and the like on a baking sheet in the oven. The food tastes great and the cleanup is quick and easy. I find their heat rating to be more than adequate for what my needs are. I was nervous that they wouldn’t feel truly clean after washing but warm soapy water. a soft sponge, and a few minutes of air drying and the mat is like new. I have not noticed even a hint of any chemical odors or tastes so do believe that using these appropriately is important to prevent anything like that from happening which means using them atop a metal baking sheet and not on their own and not exposing them over or to direct flame, pretty common sense stuff. If you’re feeling like you have higher temperature range needs, then just give these a polite pass; I find it a bit interesting that so many reviewers are quibbling over a 50 degree difference since to me, 400 degrees is very hot so I wouldn’t even think if my needs were ever even within that range to use these. There are probably better options. But for most dinner time meal prep, these perform wonderfully. I love that I’m not adding any calories to my meals either by eliminating the need for a cooking spray (granted, I do use a zero calorie coconut oil spray anyway but I still always think less is more). There is another exception to a rule which is that this is also a great value as you get two mats for a very reasonable price (I something similar in a department store last week that was the same size but was only a single mat for $18.00). I just remembered that I even stuck some fish in with my veggie kabobs for a few minutes the other evening and the mat did not retain any fishy odor and this was after I failed to clean up the dishes that night and left them in the sink until the next late afternoon. My fiancé and I are usually better about getting to cleanup in a timely manner but we’re human so it’s reassuring to know that these are durable enough to take a little neglect as well. If you’re on the fence about whether or not you need these, you do. I admit that I also did not really have any expectations regarding the performance which may be why I view these absolutely not a sticky mess left mats so positively.

Good cooking and serving mats/liners
They're great ... perform as advertised. My "virgin voyage" (first experience/experiment) with them (one of them ... haven't found the need for two at once yet, although I think they'd be great serving mats!) was to roast some meat (in my case, simple burger patties, with cooking oil and seasoning) from frozen to done (about 40 minutes) with the mat on top of a baking sheet. The mat was slightly larger, so the edges stuck out over the raised edges (of the cookie sheet), forming a little reservoir in the center where the meat was -- which turned out to be a good thing, making basting easy! Delicious. (Guess I got lucky on the seasonings, LOL!) The drippings scooped up easily with a spoon, and were a great additive to the next dish I prepared ... no "burnt" taste, no scraping. I let the mat cool before cleaning; overnight in fact ... I wanted to test how well it cleaned up. No problem! Pretty greasy, but sponged off easily with warm-to-hot water and regular dish detergent, rinsed off with my sink's sprayer attachment. Dabbed dry with a terry dish cloth. Let it sit for further drying. Rolled up and bound loosely with 2 rubber bands for storage. Great addition to my kitchen!

Great for gluten free cooking!
I was using one silicone baking mat, that I had had for a year before using. I always used parchment paper and put off trying the silicone one. One day I decided I needed to use it or get rid of it. Well the rest is history, I loved using silicone, but I only had one so I ordered this set of two, since I bake for a household of 6. I really like that these fit my larger cookie sheets. They are wider by 1/2" than the kitchen aid one that I have. I see no difference in the baking quality of the cookies I tested them with the two different brands. They look nice, fit my pans perfect and the qluten free cookies slid right off. They were easy to wash in hot soapy water. I store them right along with my cookie sheets. I wouldn't cut on these but I could see using them for rolling out dough or keeping your counters clean when making sandwiches etc. They look nice sitting on the counter and they don't slide. Maybe I will try the kids play dough next, I hate washing the table when they finish.

Great ide, works well, good for the environment by saving the use of Reynolds Wrap to protect your baking pans.
"Just got them but haven't use them yet. Plan to bake a meat loaf, forming it on top of the mat rather then baking it in a loaf pan pan. This should allow the fat to drain away and not be retained in the loaf". Well that was my original review, but since then I have made the meat loaf dish twice within the same month. It came out simply terrific. By placing the silicone baking mat on top of my large heavy duty baking pan, and forming the meat load right on the mat rather then putting in a loaf pan, the fat drained off to the sides and away from the loaf as it baked, and the baking pan was protected by the baking mat. Will save tons of using tin foil stuff, the mat was a snap to clean each time, and you just about didn't even have to wash the baking pan ... but I did anyway. Great stuff. Was pleased with the mat, the pan, the clean up.... and the meat loaf came out great! It was a YouTube recipe from Jenny Jones. Now, if Kitzini does not contact me a third time to comment :)

Cookies Turn Out GREAT
I wanted to try making sugar cookies for the holidays and all the recipes said to use a silicon baking mat. I was like "yah sure, you just want me to waste more money and accumulate more clutter. Jerks. My regular cookie sheet will be JUST FINE!" Well. I was very wrong. With a regular baking sheet, the bottoms of my cookies were constantly coming out burned while the tops were doughy-ish. I always figured it was just my stupid oven. Turns out my oven wasn't the problem and I wrongly insulted its baking abilities. Turns out I should have been blaming a combo of myself and my baking sheets. I took these lovely silicone sheets and placed them on top of my baking sheets. My cookies baked so beautifully well and evenly! The bottoms are a light brown instead of a crispy black and the tops are PERFECT. I have never baked the perfect cookie but these lovelies have changed that. These will always have a place in my kitchen now! I also love that these are silicone and can go in the dishwasher if I'm feeling lazy. If you struggle with baking, these just might be what opens your world to better results!

Where have these things been all my life??? Fantastic!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these silicone baking sheets!!! Where have they been all my life?? I made cookies on them over the holiday break... no problem, clean up was a snap. No more soaking baking sheets. I then made the kids chicken strips on this thing...my husband said it wasn't meant for chicken strips, but, it worked like a charm and clean up was a breeze. Last night I ventured to make home-made meatballs, and gave the silicone mat a try. I usually have a greasy burned mess to clean up after I make these things, but again, it took me about thirty seconds to clean up the mess off this mat! I use both, and over lap them a bit on a very large baking sheet. It is the best invention for busy cooks. I have been eyeing these silicone-type mats for years. I'm cheap and thought I couldn't splurge on it. Absolutely ridiculous! I should have purchased this years ago. The price is completely worth it.

Excellent Baking Mat Set
I have used these silicone baking mats several times for baking a variety of cookies, bread rolls, and meat pies. All come off the pan exceptionally well (almost slide off themselves). Compared to parchment paper, the food items do not leave as much residue on the silicone mats. The food items seem to bake just as well on the silicone mat as on parchment paper. I have noticed that if the food item (meat pies) have extra juice that seeps out with baking, it will not soak into the mat as it would the parchment paper, but drain off. It is not easy to take the silicone mats off the pan if you are trying to cool the food items on just the mats and not the pan & mat. Clean up of these mats are easy-okay, but sometimes feel greasy even after a firm scrubbing. I would purchase more of these since my kitchen typically sees more than several dozen bakery items going through its oven.

Work great! Give them a shot - you'll love them!
I have used them about 5 times now and I ♥️ them! They were too big for my baking sheets so I just cut them down and no fraying or separating. They clean up very easy. The only thing, and I consider it minor, they are a little awkward to clean. I hold them with one hand and put soap on with the other and use a sponge. I dry them on paper towels and then roll them up and store in our silverware drawer. I can't believe I didn't get them sooner. I plan on getting more. I have one, beloved baking sheet but I know it's not going to last forever. I've tried buying new baking sheets but didn't have much success...the bottom of the cookies burned or, they didn't clean up well or, I'd find one I like but hubby would use it for frozen pizza 😟(note to self: need to get him a pizza stone). These are great & very reasonably priced! Give them a try! Lastly, I did not notice any weird smell like others have commented.
