This thing really saved a lot of hassle and time. Keeps the mess down to minimum due to no saw dust.My only complaint is the blade and handle hold down allows the handle to kind of stick up high. it would be nice if it held the handle all the way in the down position for storage.I used it on 12mm laminate and it cut right through with no issues its not a perfectly clean cut when making a cut with a lot of the material behind the blade but if you leave say 1/16 -1/8'' to trim off after lopping off your main piece it cuts pretty nicely. this is due to the angle on the back of the blade. Even then it only matters if you leave that edge visible. Watch your fingers it is wicked sharp.

This item is a high quality product even though it was made in China. It took 3 minutes to assemble and cuts vinyl like a guillotine. It saved me a lot of time installing vinyl plank flooring.

I wish I knew of this tool long ago. Would have saved me hours and headaches

Read a lot of reviews before picking this cutter. It was used to floor over 300 square feet of 12mm Aquaguard Floor and Decor laminate. The flooring is a still solid product and this cutter had no problem cutting through. More impressive is how clean the cut were. They almost looked factory and didn't chip, nick, squash, or split yhe product. The cutter was also used to cut 1/2 inch PVC baseboards and quarter round with no issues. The aluminum adjustable handle is nice along with the convinirof a carry handle built into the base. The cutter is sturdy and has impressive quality.
