I work on automobiles mainly as a hobby after retirement. I was a professional automotive technician and manager for 4 decades but I still love repairing vehicles. I purchased this scope for the times where I needed to look inside an engine's cylinder walls and cylinder heads. I have used this several times in the past weeks and for the money, it is excellent. The pictures are very clear and you can zoom in and out. You can take still pictures and review them afterwards. The articulating camera helps you to look at the combustion chamber of the head and the cylinder walls. The battery life seems excellent as I haven't charged it yet from when I took it out of the box. Speaking of box, it has a very nice case that keeps the tool protected. It is easy to use and the dial feature to move the camera head around works well. Since the camera moves side to side, you have to move the "snake" around to get the angle you need but I am getting used to that. Overall, I am very happy with this tool and while there are more expensive versions out there, this one works well for me so far.

I'm very happy with this. I'd bought a unit from another manufacturer years ago and it no longer worked when I needed to use it. So I bought this as a replacement. It's been perfect so far, and it actually has more funtions than the other unit had. I think it's a great value for the money.

This little cam is great. Original bought to inspect piston and valves on Jeep JK. Articulation works perfect, cam is clear, takes photo's and videos. Comes with SD card and durable carry case.

I am using this around my house so I need to see things sharply an inch or two away (in a wall) AND two or three feet away (attic or crawl space) this model does the up close part very nicely but anything beyond a foot away quickly becomes blurry. It also seems to have issues controlling white balance which creates problems in dark places with white surfaces.I also wonder why they include resolution in the settings menu when you can’t change that setting? There’s really nothing you can change that makes a difference, it’s pretty much locked in to average parameters.On the good side the ability to rotate the viewing screen 180° is invaluable a should be a standard option on all inspection cameras.I also like how the cable exits the hand unit handle, it’s less likely to encounter strain vs exiting out the back and the camera head itself is a very small diameter so access holes can be tiny & easily plugged. The hard ballistic nylon case is very nice and much better than a blow molded plastic case.Honestly what’s needed is for someone to gather a dozen of the most popular models and perform a comprehensive test!This is the third scope I’ve ordered and the best so far but it still falls short of my needs if I am being honest.If all you need is up close observation then this will be a good choice.I purchased this product with my own money and received nothing in return for my review.I’m not associated with this company or any other company.

Works great. I like the clarity and how the end can be manipulated to see more area.

This was purchased to replace a different brand and model. And happy I did because detail maneuverability flexibility and length of reach was first Superior in every way. Pictures are details of the inside of the cylinder chamber of the LS7 engine and my 2006 ZO6 Corvette! Though because I took them with my phone camera they don't reflect the absolute clarity of the actual camera. The added functionality of being able to manipulate the end of the probe 180° in each Direction to the point where the camera can look back on the cable it's attached to, isn't outstanding very useful feature. Images are high quality, the build is very well put together and excellent value for the price

I used this camera to look inside of my roof eave to help determine where to drill a 3/4” hole through a 2x4 inside my roof eve that had no visibility from my attic. I also used it to then figure out how to feed my Poe network wire through this hole to another hole created in my attic. Maneuvering the camera to do this took quite a bit of time to get used to, but I don’t think I could have completed this project as easily or at all without this tool. I learned a lot about my attic and roof in the process by actually being able to see inside these covered spaces. I’d highly recommend this tool for the price if you’re doing similar work. Seems priced appropriately for what it is.
