It looks very professional, the case is great and convenient, but feels a bit weird to have the smaller scissor in a transparent plastic case. While not much of a minus, I wonder how much it'll last since the smaller scissors are really pointy and you can probably imagine the repeated use damage to the case.The combs are nice, and very practical with one being transportable and the other one suited for a more .. thorough comb, so to speak.But the scissors ! The scissors are the main reason we're buying this, after all. The small ones are really great and really small haha. Fits well in the hand and has pointy ends to get to those pesky hairs that keep you away from your dream mustache or to get those finer grooming details a non-pointed scissor could not do. Did I mention they're sharp ? They're really sharp and you get good feedback when cutting.The bigger ones though, oh boy. These are the superstar ! Construction wise they are really well built, I don't know how to put it into words more specifically, but that's how I feel. I just trust them. They do, however have smaller rings for the fingers than the small scissors and that took me a bit by surprise. It's not an inconvenient but it was a bit weird at first, now I'm all used to it ! That's it for the construction, but for the sharpness.... well, I had a mild freak out on how good they cut. It's like, they don't even encounter resistance from the hair. You barely feel feedback unless you're cutting like way more than a couple of hairs and maybe even then, it's just the sound that gives the grooming away. They are FREAKISHLY sharp, like, LASER sharp, it's only that you can't hear the lasers. I haven't tried it yet, but I wonder if the "unlucky" hairs even know what's coming for them. Like, do they move when you cut them or they just *poof* out of existance (in the sink more specifically) ?TL;DR - Ever since I bought these I feel closer to my dream of becoming a Jedi.

Excellent. I realize now that my existing trimming scissors are pretty poor compared to this Aberlite set. The larger pair are razor sharp and effortless to use - The smaller pair are perfect for those close trimming jobs, moustache and lip area for eg. The two combs and nice case are the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

The larger, 5", scissors are easy to use & effective. The small wooden comb is effective for both beard & moustache, and is nicely tapered so that it sits well in the hand - it would probably apply wax or balm well, but I have another wooden comb which I use for this. The plastic comb is effective enough, but nothing special. The small scissors are extremely sharply pointed, and this particular pair is very stiff. Combined with the small size, I've found that this makes them difficult to use - although the stiffness will probably wear off with use/lubrication. In truth, I don't have much use for small detail scissors, since my moustache is worn long & waxed. As travel scissors these would not be my choice, due to the extreme points.The case was a key factor in my choice of purpose, and does a good job of protecting the tools. My main gripe is that, while the larger scissors have a reasonably strong holster, the small ones are held in a transparent pocket, which seemes unlikely to stand up to repeated stowing of their sharp points. These scissors could really do with a better scabbard - especially if they are intended to be removed & used separately as travel scissors.

Cuts splendidly! These things require almost zero effort to cut away beard hair. Really nice case and it keeps them from getting dinged or beaten up in a drawer. An incredible value.

Seeing this product on Amazon online and the positive comments of its buyers invite my attention because my second son (a secondary teacher) used to utilize an ice tempered scissor for hair in cutting his beard even though I provided him a manual shaver I bought from Lazada and feather blades I bought from Amazon.I bought this Beard Scissors Kit for Men for him from Amazon as a gift. After he used this new kit for a couple of weeks, he really like it because this kit has two scissors. Both scissors are so sharp that my son really like them for being suitable for beard use, really nice to look at and presentable which he brought with him when he attended out of town seminars/trainings.

The presentation and packaging are superb. They have do a great job at making these scissors appealing when you open the box.....however they do not perform as well as they look.The smaller size ("Travel") precision scissors are not sharp and are loose. Every time I have tried to use them I have a hard time cutting the small individual hairs on my beard. Using the small scissor on these beard hair you would think I was trying to cut small steel cables..... The Large "5 in. Professional" scissors are mediocre, and again are not sharp. They pull as much hair out as they cut...Over all, a disappointing purchase. Hopefully will find a better product.

I got this set to actually cut my families hair. It included both size scissors I wanted and a case so was perfect, and I keep the small comb in my purse. The large scissors are easily the most comfortable pair I have ever used. The rounded tip is so I cut my 2 year old and 4 year olds hair. My old ones were sharp on the ends and when they move it made me so nervous. The little ones are great for around their ears and at their neck. I am NOT a professional by any means, but I have been cutting men's, and occasional women's hair in my family or friends for about 15 years. I love this set and recommend it.

I bought this kit as an anniversary gift for my boyfriend. I'm usually the one that trims and grooms his facial anywhere, so it's a win-win. Arrived well packaged and no damages. Everything that comes with it works great! I find that the larger shears cut a bit smoother while the smaller ones snag just a bit, but it's not too much of an issue. I use the larger ones more anyway. Overall, would highly recommend this product! Great quality, especially for the price.
