A great EDC for the price with top tier features.
This is an extremely high quality knife (especially for the price) that came out of the box scalpel sharp. Nothing about its design is cheap, it's ambidextrous for the south paws and easily opened/closed with one hand. It's not a huge knife so if you have large hands you might find it small. I have medium sized hands and can get a 4-finger grip on the handle. Large hands will likely get 3.Because of the type of steel which is very tough and retains an edge, and again is *sharp,* it is prone to rust - so this requires one to take some care with exposing the blade to moisture. If you're looking for a small/medium EDC knife with a lot of features for the price point this is a very good buy.

Great EDC option
I've heard a lot about this knife over the last several months and had to try it out. It's pretty impressive. For the price point, getting a blade with 14C28N steel is awesome. It's a rugged knife. The micarta is a super cool feature. It is a small knife. Be careful closing it when holding it in the palm of your hand. Due to its small size I tend to get the butt of the knife into my palm in such a way that when the blade closes it CAN cut your hand with the tip (see 4th picture). Easy enough to simply adjust your grip to avoid this (5th picture). Overall I would definitely recommend this knife as a good quality, inexpensive piece with a great steel.

A Perfect Blend of Craftsmanship and Practicality
I've been using the CIVIVI Yonder for a few weeks now, and I couldn't be more impressed. Right out of the box, the fit and finish are outstanding — no rough edges, perfect centering, and a buttery-smooth action that makes flipping it open addictive. The blade shape strikes a great balance between utility and style, with a strong tip for piercing and enough belly for slicing tasks. The ergonomics are spot-on too. Whether I'm doing light everyday tasks or something heavier, the handle feels secure and comfortable in the hand. CIVIVI's attention to detail really shows here — from the subtle jimping on the spine to the pocket clip that disappears during use but holds firmly when you need it.The Yonder has quickly earned a permanent spot in my EDC rotation. If you're looking for a knife that's not just functional but also a joy to carry and use, the CIVIVI Yonder is absolutely worth it.

Week detent, but otherwise fantastic
This is a great little every day Carry pocket knife. I find that it fits great in my hand. I can easily fit three fingers on the main area, and my pinky sits on the angled rear portion of the handle.. The black G 10 scales feel great in the hand and while the blade stock is quite thin, the handle itself is a bit chunkier, which I actually like as it tends to fill out the hand and provides a good amount of grip. Now back to the blade, I really like the look of this, as it has a more traditional looking blade style. I’ve seen some people calling this a reverse tanto or modified sheep’s foot, but this is essentially an oversized spat such as you would see on a trapper knife. It cuts very well, having arrived very sharp out of the box as usual for this brand. The crossbar lock works well, however the one ding that I give it it’s that the detent at least on my version seems to be way too loose. I can literally just flick the knife with my hand without touching the crossbar lock and the blade will deploy. Essentially it opens and closes too easily and that is one area where I find myself just a bit nervous with it sitting in my pocket. I wonder if whether or not it’s just gonna open from jostling around. Having dropped this knife once or twice I can say that both times the blade deployed. I took the scales off, but there’s no way to easily adjust the spring as it does not have adjustable tension like many of Kizer‘s. I could play with the springs, but I’m not gonna do that. I haven’t really seen too many other people that have this issue so it’s probably just a one off, but it’s something to look out for. I don’t carry this in my pocket instead I keep this knife in one of my man bags in a little pouch along with the other tools that I carry in there. I wouldn’t let this dissuade you from purchasing since as I’ve said I have not encountered anybody else who is really had this problem but it’s an absolutely great every day Carry blade. The 14 C 28 and Blade steel is one of my favorites as it’s relatively easy to touch up and it’s very sharp very tough blade steel. Another good knife from Civivi.

Civivi for the win
I own many knives from Microtec all the way to ovarian (bugout clone) and the Civivi Younder is my go to pocket knife the size is small but feels great in the hands the lock is very good for it being the first time Civivi released a knife with this type of lock. The weight is very light and can hardly feel it in the pocket the action for opening and closing like butter. Super easy and stro by for a small size. It comes with a 14C28N steel which is great for budget stell and very sharp out of the box. This is a winner and I’d buy it again just to own the rest of them.

Great value
This is definitely a good value knife.Hits: quality materials used, great lock up, smooth action, useful design, tight tolerances, great quality control from the manufacturer.Misses: Omega spring tension too high, thumb stud jimping a little slippery, factory edge could be betterOverall this knife is the best bang for your buck pertaining to EDC pocket knives. Would be a great companion or gift.

Knife
Very good quality and look. The handle is a little small in my opinion but the knife worked as advertised and it was as sharp as most of their knives all in all not bad

Good thing in small package.
Awesome blade shape. Deploys with authority. Bearings spin freely. Snaps open detent. Axis lock operates very smoothly. Falls shut. Easy to clip and carry in pocket. Small for sure, but feels like more knife than it measures when in-hand. All signs of high-quality knifery. I do like this.
