This was such a fun project to complete! The directions are online (with a QR code) and are great for beginning crocheters. There is a video that goes through the entire project step by step. It was great to follow.

These little owl were quick and easy to make, even for a new crocheter like myself. There was more than enough yarn, and I may need to make more since my granddaughters each begged for their own.

It was kinda frustrating at first but once i took my time it was very easy and came naturally. The instructions do kind of go a bit fast but it was fine. it does seem a bit smaller than the one in the video but other than that perfect

This was an enjoyable project for me. I’ve attempted crochet in the past and been able to make very, very basic things like a chunky blanket but never a stuffed animal. The videos were very helpful in walking you through the stitches and the entire project at a slow, digestible pace. I was able to read the pattern and understand what to do after watching some of the stitch tutorials and did not need the videos for the entire project- meaning they taught me well. There were also plenty of materials provided, so I was not worried about running out.My only major issue came when it was time to sew the project together. The videos were not very specific on how to sew or what to do and went very quickly through the sewing process. Honestly, it took me much longer than the video to sew everything and figure out what I was doing. I wish they were as detailed in explaining the sewing process as they were with everything else.Besides that, I love my axolotl, and I’m glad I got this kit. It was worth it for the materials and instructions, and I’d say it looks just like they advertise. Overall, it was fun and beginner-friendly.

This was my first time ever crocheting and now I'm hooked. I made one with the blue yarn it comes with, then I bought some glow in the dark yarn and made one with that. Then my coworker asked if I could make her one, so I'm in the process of that. The videos were easy to follow. There were separate videos of how to do each stitch, but they also showed how to do each stitch throughout the axolotl making process. The sewing part was a little glossed over but I just re-watched it a few times and really payed attention to where the needle should be passing through.

I bought this for my 11yo, it’s cute but the instructions were not always as easy to follow and they need access to the internet, YouTube etc so not something to give when trying to get them disconnected!

Complete products needed to make this kit. Clear instructions for crocheting and good instructions for assembly. Nice yarn colors.
