Colorful and Enchantable Puzzles
Fun puzzles some more challenging than others BUT the real enjoyment is the beautiful art work. I enjoy, after solving the puzzle, just looking at the colorful detailed puzzle piece. There is a REAL joy, anticipation opening each new puzzle piece again to first enjoy the art work! This is my 42nd Escape Room game and it is one of my top Escape Room experience for playability and the ART WORK!

Great time with my Grand children!
My grand children and I had a lot of fun with this. Beautiful graphics. Story needs a little work, but the puzzles are fun. Ages were 8-12. Some puzzles were fairly easy for them, which was nice for the 8 year old. I made copies, so everybody could solve the puzzle instead of only one person doing it. The kids liked that. I would recommend this.

Fun escape room that can be reset to be used again
I enjoyed this Talking Tables Enchanted Castle Escape Room Game for Kids, Rescue The Dragon. It has a fun, family friendly storyline. The puzzles are challenging for newbies to escape room type games, but doable. I really like that you can print out spares of pieces that get destroyed during the game play so you can do it again or pass it along to other friends to enjoy, but you do need to think ahead if you want to do that as there are a few pieces that you treat differently when you're planning to replay. My one complaint, but is that is does require at least one person to have a phone connected to the internet during game play for some of the QR codes. This detracts a bit from the experience. I don't mind some of them, like the playlist, because you can sort of set it up and let it go once you start playing, but others have to be accessed during game play and that messes up the flow for me.Overall though, I'm very happy with this and will be on the look out for others from this company.

Would buy again
Surprisingly fun for being just an envelope of puzzles. My 3 kids and I split up the puzzles to solve the chant. I would buy another similar envelope if they made one.

Made us think and have fun! Win-win
This was mostly completed by our 9yo boy and 8yo girl with some help from 7yo brother. It was the perfect level of difficulty to enjoy the process. A few hints from mom and dad. Took about 2 - 1/2 hours, but they didn’t want to stop and have already asked for another.

Have to go to the internet for some information
I do feel pretty strongly that a rules booklet should contain all the information necessary to play the game. This game in particular is a few punchout pieces for puzzles and a rulebook, all put into an envelope, so I would expect that they could efficiently get all the information in there. Unfortunately, there's several QR codes in the booklet to send you to the internet for information. When I'm playing a board game I don't like to have my phone out. I want to be focused on the people I'm playing with. One of the codes is for an introduction to the game. I watched it by myself so that I could play the dungeon master to my daughter as we played it together. Some QR codes are skippable, like the spotify playlist or the printable pdf to replace damaged punchout pieces, but one of them, the one that introduces you to the game, is pretty necessary since if you just pull the pieces out of the envelope willy nilly you won't know where to start. My opinion is they should buff up the rulebook so that the whole game can be played without internet access or phone use.In regards to the gameplay itself, it's fairly typical for one use escape room games. It says the pieces are reusable but a lot of the puzzles have one straightforward solution and once you know you know. It was a good two hours of quality time with my daughter. They have a recommended time limit of 90 minutes but frankly we had more fun I think going slow and milking the puzzles. If I had to go fast I'm afraid I would have just pointed out the solution and moved on. It's more fun to talk it through with your young one and help them figure it out.

Excellent break from electronics
Great time for my 8 and 11 year old. My be wife and I were available to give direction when needed on occasion. Otherwise, perfect for kids that love solving puzzles and using decided. Highly recommended for an activity away from electronics.
