I purchased these fans because I enjoy my tobacco pipe in my office and needed a way to exhaust the smoke outside. These work perfectly! They are 10 inches so they fit nicely into the window frame and not heavy enough to damage your screen. They have a high and a low setting and I think both speeds are the right amount of airflow. These fans are versatile - they are a tilt design and have legs that fold up and down so you can use them like I do without the legs extended and it just sits in the window frame and it can blow air in or out to help ventilate or circulate fresh air into the room. Or you can extend the legs and set it on a desk or a countertop. This product is easy to use. You can either use (6) D cell batteries or plug it into the wall with the AC power cord it comes with. To access the battery compartment there are two large plaster screw heads on the legs, the slot is large enough to use a quarter or a flathead screwdriver, and a half turn locks and unlocks the battery compartment. It takes very little effort/force to turn the screws and open the compartment. Once powered, slide the switch to the left for high or to the right for low, slide back to the middle position for off, easy peasy. The fans are lightweight so if you need to lift them up or move them for any reason, it takes no effort at all. They are very portable, affordable, and built with good quality (not super superior construction and not crappy construction either... good quality construction that will last without breaking the bank). I have used the Treva fans for a few months now and I LOVE THEM. I use them daily. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these fans. YOU GET TWO FANS for under fifty bucks! A steal of a deal. These fans have all kinds of uses: as a personal desktop fan, or a window fan like I do, or to ventilate your stuffy workspace, shed, garage, craft room, studio, office, or bedroom. Use battery power when tailgating, camping or picnicking. Battery back-up is very useful for emergency situations such as power outages or natural disasters. If you're a Prepper you should have these fans in your home preparedness kit!

I bought a two-pack, in anticipation of June 1st and the start of hurricane season here in Florida. I've been through several bad storms and you never know when or if the power will go out. My last one was "only" a Category 1, yet there was a 24 hr blackout. That's a long time to swelter in the heat of a Gulf Coast summer. I'm very pleased with these fans, and sitting here now with one blowing on me. Very quiet, portable, can be tilted into different angles, and they are in that darker gray color that goes with everything. Takes "D" batteries but comes with an adapter. I will probably be purchasing more to put around the house. Excellent product.

I know there's a lot of negative feedback about this particular exact fan, but those are RARE. I've been buying and using this exact fan for 16+ years and nothing can beat it. This time I paid a bit more to buy from this seller, because it was worth it, they included the adapter. For the 2-pack price, that includes the adapter, and the fans having stands that allows you to position the fan in anyway you like. Between all of that, and the fact that the high speed is like a power blower, PERFECT for someone living in hurricane areas as I do, and the seller shipping my items not only on time, but early, and in perfect condition, I can't say anything but great things.

I was surprised at the quality of these fans. I have a booth at a flea market and was using one of the fans as I labeled items. A family came in with a older gentleman in a wheelchair, who suffered from Parkinson's disease. It was extremely hot, and the lady saw my fan and wanted to know how it worked. She asked if she could see it and handed to the gentleman in the wheelchair. He took the fan in both hands and let it blow on him. He was very happy. She asked to buy it because it made him happy. How could I say no? She said now he would be able to go out on their boat, and have a breeze blowing on him.These are great little fans. I would buy again.

I am amazed at the amount of air that these fans move! We have no electric yet at the weekend cabin we are building, and were skeptical that a battery powered fan would be sufficient. I decided to give them a try(we bought 2) after reading the positive reviews, and am very pleased. They are slim and convenient, fold flat when not in use, and take 6 D-cell batteries, which lasted an incredible 20+ hours. We ran them all day....then our granddaughter, who always sleeps with a fan, kept one running throughout the night.....It was still going full speed in the morning!!! They are convertible and came with a cord so that when the solar array is completed, we will be able to plug them in to a regular 110 outlet. So glad we have these fans!!

I ordered these little fans after a 7 1/2 hour power outage mid August in southeast Texas due to effects from hurricane Laura. Although we didn't have them in time for that, I liked them enough to order 4 more for my mother in law and friends.

Bought these for the cabin of my boat to get some air circulation while docked. I like that I can plug them in or use on battery power. Perfect for boat, RV or in home use. I'd buy again.

I purchased this fan to take it along in my travels and I was surprised of the airflow it provided. It is very portable and easy fit in your luggage. The power cord is a plus as it works both with 110 and 220 volts, hence you only need the right electric power adapter for the country you are visiting. Do not expect a tornado on the airflow as I read some reviews prior to my purchase. This is a personal fan and it does provide a nice airflow.
