Keep Out!: Top Secret Places Governments Don’t Want You to Know About

I don't believe really any of the conspiracy theories and stuff out there, but I do enjoy reading about them and thinking, What if? I was in the Army for 4 years and I really didn't see any reason to believe that the military is capable of concealing things. If they are hiding things, good for them, my life is still the same. The content of this book is good, it's compelling and the guy clearly is passionate about the subject matter. If you're looking for solid proof of conspiracies, you won't find it here. (I believe that's because there really are no conspiracies, but I digress) Just a guys speculation on many popular conspiracy theories that do exist. A good entertaining read.

As always Nick Redfern has written a well researched and very readable book. I like to think that I have a reasonable handle on things happening on this planet but as usual Mr. Redfern has come up with situations that I was not aware of. The new (to me) episodes are of mind boggling information! The more I read of alternative topics the more I come to rely on Mr. Redfern's unbiased presentation of the facts in each instance. A lot of information packed into a very readable little book. I highly recommend it!

Most books of this nature tend to be on the side of sensationalism, little green (or grey) men and the like. Not so with Keep Out! This is a well written book that speaks to the Philadelphia Experiment, the Montauk Project, UFO's and the like. Being a believer in many things we cannot see, I have read many books on these subjects. However, this is the first book that I have read that treats these topics and more in a straightforward, scholarly fashion.It is like a documentary on paper. Read this one whether you believe or not - it's a winner!

If you are into the conspiracy theories, UFOs, or the paranormal; check out Nick Redfern's books. They are easy to read and very entertaining. This book is hard to put down and will hold your attention from beginning to end as the author explores the subjects of secret government facilities, alien bases on the moon, and bizarre government experiments.

While I like Nick Redfren in his work The Pyramids and The Pentagon, this book honestly just feels like several other books I've read or are out there. By no means am I knocking this book or the conspiracy genre, the market is just saturated with these books. Is it a fun read, yes. Is it a quick read, yes. Does it bring up most of the conspiracy stories you've heard before? YES. I have to leave it there. Read by all means, it's just not breaking any new ground.

I really like this book. It doesn't bite off more than the author can chew, it is well-written and is neither deadpan nor over the top in style. So many books in this genre can be full of breathlessness and way short on actual facts, not the case with Redfern's writing.

This book is not what I expected. The tone is inconsistent, partly factual and sometimes downplaying mythical and fantastic stories while other times sensationalizing them and seemingly suggesting they're possibly (or even likely) true. If you listen to Art Bell and believe everything his guests have to say you'll probably love this book. If you are more of a fact-based thinker it will probably be a disappointment.

Book delivered very fast and in perfect condition. Book is definitely interesting and still reading into it.The vendor took good care and that will bring me back every time. Nick Redfern is a good writer andI am enjoying the book but critiquing a book is so subjective. You know, "ones trash is another's treasure."
