Superbly illustrated book with clear and concise instructions
I bought this book after I borrowed a copy from a friend. The instructions in the book are clear and concise and the photographs are simply beautiful. There are a good range of box patterns in the book too. Highly recommended if you plan to make a range of both rigid and collapsible "etui" boxes.

This is a "must have book"
One of the most beautiful and handy book I ever bought. The boxes are gorgeous and all the instructions are very good.Easy to ready is a book I recommend for beginner as well as for more advance crafters. Although the design are not themost recent decoration, it is very easy to adapt to your favorite style. Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Great book
This book is very interesting with lots of ideas for making boxes. Some are cross stitch, some using plastic and some using card, so no matter what you are looking for you should find it here. I purchased this book primarily to make a drop sided Victorian style sewing box and wasn't disappointed. Great box book. It arrived well packaged and promptly.

Great range of projects with clear instructions and pretty pictures
I knew exactly what I was getting as to the contents of the book because I have a copy on long-term loan from a friend. However, I plan to make boxes as one of my hobbies and need my own copy. This book combines interesting projects with clear instructions and very attractive photos of the finished items, so it really works for me (oh, the temptation to put in 'ticks all the boxes'!) I have made a version of the hexagonal box in the top right of the picture (which has drop-down sides for use as a sewing box) and I plan to make another from this book, which I expect to be even better.

The instructions are clear and easy to follow
Although the book was late arriving, it was well packed. It is exactly what I was looking for, and I know I will make a lot of the projects in it. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. These boxes will make ideal gifts.

Excellent book
Very good book but not for the beginner. Excellent pictures with clear instructions. A must buy for the cross-stitcher who has not yet tried to make boxes covered with cross-stiches. Thank you very much Ms Evans for giving me new challenges.

Very nice book
All the boxes on the cover are very pretty and many are crafted using plastic canvas. Normally I'm not partial to things made of plastic canvas because they're usually garish or cartoon like. Not so here! I wanted to expose my niece to needlework and this was a great way to do it. We made an embroidered tissue box together. The plastic canvas made the project go quickly and the pattern was just so elegant. Many people have commented on the lovely the tissue box cover and I can see the pride my niece has taken in her work. A neighbor has asked her to make one for her.......really nice book.

本に傷みもなくて、早速、箱作りの参考にしております。でも、表紙の裏側の無地に書き込みでしょうかスタンプ等で隠すとかならまだしも黒マジックで線引きとは、、素敵な本でも興醒めですよ。
