My ankles are 10ins in diameter so I should have been able to wear the large size. I decided to buy the extra large because my ankles tend to swell up. The extra large is snug, to say the least.But for why I bought it... excellent! It offers amazing support and I'm off a long jaunt soon.

The material of this product is excellent but the design is horrible. Achilles tendons are between 16cm to 25cm depends on a person's height and an average height person has achilles tendons over 20cm but the Neo-G silicon pad is only 9cm and that only covers less than half of a normal person's achilles tendon, although the quality of the silicon pad is fantastic but it is useless if you want to protect your achilles tendons cause of its limited coverage. I hope Neo-G reads this message of me and make a new Achilles tendon support with at least 20cm silicon pad and of course high rise to cover upto calf muscle then it will be the best of the best product as long as they keep the same excellent materials.

More expensive than most but worth every penny. The padded inserts provide good support to the achilles at ankle level - compression was comfortable - even with the large size for my size 10.5 shoe size.

Amazing really helped

The first time I put it on, I had to use the sleeve provided to get it over my foot and it felt nice and tight. Subsequently, it was as loose as a sock and provided no support at all. £32 is a bit steep for a single use support in my opinion. It's now been returned.
