Solid Investment
I have run everything through this stripper from 4/0 to 16 with absolutely no problems. I like the 5 different channels on this unit because it seems to keep the wire much more stable as compared to having to change different sized guide-plates that usually don't stay in place like some other units utilize. Overall very happy and would definitely recommend it if your looking for one!

I love it.
I’ve had it for a minute now. Didn’t like it at first when it came to stranded wire. But if you loosen the bolts on top and just leave them at snug and use the first circular hole and not the first two rectangular ones you should be good.

Huge time saver
Bought it to strip out about 3500 feet of 400 MCM copper worked perfect save me multitudes of hours were perfect on every size wire I put in it all the way down to a number 12 THHN would buy again

You need a foot switch
It's been forever and I have not gotten my refund. I have paid for 2 of these now I am out over 600 dollars. Amazon used to be good about refunds It strips wire nicely. It is very strong and fast you can't keep up with long wire. And when you first feed the wire it can and will get caught in the chain damaging the stripping mechanism. You have to be careful and be able to stop fast. A 20 dollar foot switch will keep you from damaging the stripping mechanical drive. B

Can’t Go Wrong with This!
This machine rips through insulation like no other! It pays for itself on how much time you save. The foot pedal helps manage speed, especially when you have to make adjustments for different sized wire. It’s well built and feels solid. This little machine is a beast!
