Looks fantastic and fits perfectly. I got the 8 foot long one in the bright royal blue color. It matches nicely with the bright blue pool tile border. The hand rail circumference is 6 inches as measured with a flexible fabric measuring tape. I wet this cover in the pool then put it on the hand rail. It was easier to install with two people so one could hold the sides closer together while the other one zippered. Around the curvy parts it was slow going, and we were only able to zipper in tiny increments at a time. It’s cushy like scuba material with a fabric cover and silicone or textured dots for a good grip. No more burning hot or slippery hand rail. Shipping was super quick, maybe 2 business days, to eastern Massachusetts.

Had used this brand in past and had good service, lasting a couple of years. When replacing, went with a neoprene cover that did not hold up and almost didn’t last the summer. Our summers are pretty hot and humid. Replaced this year with this cover and I can tell the quality, fit, look is nicer.

I liked the quality of these handrail covers, however they were so tight we could not get them on our handrails. Even with 2 people working to try to stretch these we could not get the zipper started. There was no stretch. The previous ones I had ordered and the next brand I ordered both fit with no problems, but I had to send these back, sadly.

I installed a hand rail to help get out of the tub and when the sun beams on that metal, it can get really hot. This will definitely help. It is easy to install and stays much cooler in the sun. Time will tell how much it fades over time, but so far, I like it and it’s staying very nice.

This product is described as fitting a 1.9 inch rail. It cannot possibly fit anything wider that 1.5 inches. I ordered it for my unground pool rail. When it did not fit I took it to return facility. They said it is set to be$14.50 dollars to return!!!!! Crazy. It is not because I made a mistake but because they are selling an inferior product!!!! Should not be charging for return!!!!

Thanks to a reviewer “Frequent Amazon Customer,” I purchased this Rail Runners Swimming Pool Handrail Cover. My railing also measured 6” around and I followed the suggestion to wet it in the pool first. I also kept the railing wet as I installed it. Gave it a little give and the wet railing allowed adjustments as I zipped up. The only tricky part was the start if the zipper, but once I got that done, it was easy peasy. Inch by inch under the curves, but it went well. I’m a 70 years old woman and I installed it alone. No more burning my hand on the railing in this Texas heat!

Time will tell with our AZ scorchers but this rail cover seems far superior to the previous ones we have purchased. Was a little tricky getting the zipper started, need two people (one to hold & one to star the zipper) but apart from that went on well. Most importantly it keep our hands from burning getting in & out & looks nice on the rail to boot. Highly recommend!
