I bought this some time ago for a course that I was taking at the time. Biology is not one of my strengths but this book made learning the different parts of the anatomy so simple! The detailed and colourful illustrations made this book so much more engaging and definitely helped to make a dull topic much easier to tackle. This simple to use book would be perfect for anyone studying biology, nursing or other medical topics. Very easy to understand and I would definitely recommend! *****

I haven't had this book for a long time but I must say it is already becoming useful. The way or more so the order in which I have been taught is a little different to how it is in this book which can be a little confusing but the information itself is fantastic. I should also add if you are a visual learner then this is the book for you all diagrams are fantastic and has certainly helped me to recall what I have been taught in class so I can complete my assignments. Got a distinction for the first assignment I handed in with the help of this book :). Can't praise it enough.

I'm a third year student nurse and this book is the perfect reference guide for all things anatomy. It's not massive in size and the font is clear to read. It's easy to understand and the images and art work used throughout the book are excellent. I would recommend this book to anyone. Plus it was a great price!

As a student in Healthcare I bought the recommended anatomy and physiology books but struggled with the advanced in depth terminology and explainations. A lecturer loaned me this book and it is a fantastic learning tool. The writing is clear and concise, the diagrams and images are vivid and not to in depth to overwhelme the reader. It is a lightweight, handy book that had helped develop my knowledge without putting me off.

It is exactly what it says . Very comprehensive and helpful. I liked it before the illustrations were very easy to understand. I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in how the body works, from Medical Students through to alternative therapists. This was recommended to me by a tutor on a Medical Terminology course and it did not disappoint. I did a Anatomy course with the Uk Reiki Federation as I practice Reiki and they recommended I find a book like this so I was pleased to find one

I read this book all the way through - If only I could remember all the superb information it contained. This book will be used by most as a good reference book. The diagrams in this book are very good. As I got it for about £2, I was delighted.A book on computing would be of little value, if it was over ten years old. The same cannot be said about a book on Anatomy.

Advisable reference book for study. Includes detailed diagrams. Basic information on some asoects can be used as a starting point for assignments and further reading.

I never took A&P (anatomy & physiology) in school so I needed a user-friendly, easy book that I could follow with nice pictures and a glossary of common medical diseases/illnesses- this is it!! Great for novices like me :)
