3-Outlet Hose Watering Timer, Green

It’s exactly as advertised. It’s a timer for watering the garden.

Having ordered two of the 3 outlet timers at cost of £140 when I can to install them in April (after frosts had passed) both were leaking excessively. Clearly a seal missing as I have used Orbit timers for years without issue. On speaking with the UK distributor however they would not replace the items as they are an American product (not sold in Europe) so not covered by the 6 year guarantee! I was offered a discount on buying another product but no refund or replacement. Be warned if buying in the UK the warranty on this product is invalid.

This is a US import item. It was missing the wall mounting bracket that should have been in the box. The tap connection and the 3x outlets have a thread pitch that is very, very similar to the British standard but not quite identical. It can be threaded onto a fitting with great care but will leak without the use of PTFE plumber’s tape. The same applies to the 3 outlets.

I feel compelled to write a positive review of this product given the number and nature of the negative reviews. If you fear I may have some bias for this company read my reviews for other products. This is a very versatile little timer and because of this it may be a bit more complex to use. I bought one many years ago and finally replaced it with two in 2019, 5 years ago. One I did not store properly during the winters and it failed this spring (after 4 good years) and I replaced it with the one outlet model. The other I took off every the winter before a hard freeze. Recently, I noticed it was not working and found the batteries were dead. I replaced them and it seemed it was working again. Now, here is an example of a user error that made me almost throw it away (I was disappointed but I had 5 good years of use). The problem was that I wanted to use it on manual since I found this easier for when I was in town than dealing with unpredictable rain. When I tried to use it on manual it seemed to be "confused" and I tried again and again to use it this way. I didn't want to program it since I just wanted to use manual while we were in town, but then it occurred to me that "manual" was an override of the program so I needed to program it first for it to work. I did this and the "manual" setting worked fine, (although this means using "rain delay" to override the program)! This does not mean I was stupid for not figuring it out and perhaps there should have been something in the instructions that would have mentioned this, but I am SO glad I did not order a new one since it has really been quite dependable once I set it up as intended.

Used about 6 months now product is faulty. Changed batteries but still not working. The display showing randomly U100.I am not able to contact anyone to rectify the faulty. Amazon pls help.

This timer has a very good water flow rate.we have three areas to water and this timer is the only timer I could find with the correct number of outlets.it is a good heavy built timer and very simple to set up.
