KT-Pole for KT940/KT933/KTE-35

Firstly, I've just received these today and I'm amazed. Genuine review from someone with a 3-acre garden, and a lot of nice quality kit, including professional grade secateurs, loppers, saws and chainsaws. I unboxed these and charged the two batteries at the same time in the intelligently designed charger. I've just been out and made 440 cuts (the LCD screen tells you this in case you enjoy OCD!) on mostly big branches: 25-35 mm thick. The cut is fast and clean. Having done something in 20 minutes which would normally have taken over an hour with a range of different tools, these cutters are still showing 100% charge, no sign of damage to the blade edges and the tool is barely warm. Wow! Respect to the team who have designed these. They cut in a way that is almost unbelievable: snip, snip, snip - apparently no strain on the motor. I can't speak for the more budget versions but the 40 mm version is worth every penny. Personally, I'm glad I bought the biggest ones but the 30/35 mm versions may share the same build quality. Clearly, potentially extremely dangerous, they are actually nicely balanced in the hand and easy to use. Just keep your other hand out if the way! Honestly: one of the most impressive tools, of any sort, that I've ever bought.

I have only just received this product but so far I am very impressed and it cuts the full 40 mm that it is advertised to do. Not only that but it doesn’t even blink when cutting through it. Extremely easy to use, one button and two clicks and you are on your way. You can feel the power of the motor in your hand. It’s fantastic.It is heavy, robust and reassuringly very well made. Don’t forget to oil the blade to prevent the motor from seizing and also rust penetration. If there are any updates to the contrary , I will post them here but so far I consider this product to be first class. Don’t bother buying the holster though it is a complete waste of money. Everything you've read about this incredible piece of kit is true. It really does cut through 40mm branches, effortlessly. Just for context, I'm a reasonably fit 80 year old and I had no trouble handling either the cutter on its own or when it was attached to the extension pole. It's well balanced and a joy to use. After my first session, the counter indicated 350 cuts with 95% battery left. I can't imagine even needing to use the second battery in a single session! I found that the battery was easy to remove and didn’t experience any 'sticking'. Build quality is superb.

This is amazing! I was dubious that it would perform as advertised but it slices through remarkably thick tree branches with ease and the battery lasts for a very long time too. My wife has slight arthritis in her hands and this has revolutionised her pruning. I can't recommend this highly enough, one of the best tools I have ever bought.

I have never owned one of these device before so I can't really compare the Kebtek secateurs with any other brand. What I can say is that when I used it yesterday, I asked myself why hadn't I bought one years ago. I am in the middle of a big project of removing ivy from my garden and this device made the job so much easier. It made light work of cutting through thick branches which would have otherwise needed a lot of effort. There are a couple of little points that the instructions manual doesn't make quite clear: 1. In order to change the cutting diameter, you should squeeze the trigger to close the blades an =d then hold the trigger for a few seconds until you hear a beep. 2. The only way to close the blades is to squeeze the trigger so the blades are closed and in the position you need to turn of the power button.

Great product. We have used this so much this summer. Lots off medium to small brabranches really quickly with no effort. Be careful. Could lop off your fingers as its so sharp and quick.

Been eyeing these up for a while for my garden maintenance business. Not too heavy, strong build quality and cuts through thick stems with ease. No more aches in my hand from my manual secateurs. They’re so easy to use. Wish I had bought them a lot sooner

Easy to use. Works well. Only done one job so far but very happy. Lighter weight than I was expecting

I've had a couple of pairs of those Bosch assisted pruning shears and both have failed. At the price they sell for, I was getting a little annoyed. These shears were cheaper and are much more functional. They are slightly more dangerous, in that when you pull the trigger, they cut strong, so be careful. I ended up getting the extension pole from the manufacturer and it's been so much easier to keep my garden in order. Battery life is excellent, power is excellent, just an excellent product all round.
