Eppicotispai Stainless Steel Truffle Slicer/Chocolate Shaver

I was looking for a replacement slicing blade for my mandoline- and came across this. Even though it is a truffle slicer, it can be used for slicing veggies- for salads, chips, etc. I've used it for slicing salad veggies and for making crispy thin plantain chips. Since the blade is adjustable, it is easy to clean. Awesome product!

Could not get a consistent paper-thin slice and ir nearly always gave a coarse nub as a secondary product in nearly every attempt with a variety of typical vegetables, chocolate, hard cheese, etc for decorative gourmet kitchen flourishes.

I've used this little device to slice garlic paper thin- and so far it works brilliantly. Super sharp and works as advertised. I haven't used it for extended periods of time (perhaps 4-6 cloves at a time) but it seems comfortable enough. I would buy again.

Would have bought the straight blade to replace one from Crate and Barrel that has become dull from years of use but couldn't find it, so I got the scalloped. It is great. Use on garlic, fennel and carrots. Super thin slices. Handle is fine, not ergo, but I don't use it for very long at a time. Happy.

Wanted it to fine slice Garlic. Looks good, very sharp but the Garlic breaks at the back of the cut and clogs up the blade and has to be pushed out.

I got this for cutting some ginger. It didn't seem very sharp. Had to return.

Does the job. Provides nice thin even shaves. My only grouse is that it doesn't come with instructions. If you are a cooking guru with "truffling" experience then it shouldn't matter. However I am not but all it took was a quick YouTube video. Other than that is a pretty good kitchen tool.

This is wonderful for shaving garlic, chocolate and truffles. Anything that needs to be sliced, this cutter can do. Saw it on Rachael Ray Show and took a chance that Amazon would have it. This is just amazing to use and helps in all cooking.

Lamina bien cosas consistentes, trufas, parmesano... pero si quieres hacer laminas de algo mas blando no corta tan bien.

I bought this as a gift for my mom, and she loves it. She's used it to slice garlic, shallots, radishes, cucumber and the slices are super thin and consistent thickness. The guide can be tightened to adjust thickness and the blade is super sharp, so watch your fingers! She added if she needed another one, or if she wanted to buy a slicer for a gift, she'd get this one.

見た目も良く、使いやすい。オールステンレスなので、清潔に保てそうなとこが特に嬉しかった。

Largeur de la coupe difficile à régler.Lame ondulée, les lamelles restent coincées dans la lame ...Pas pratique du tout.J'ai acheter cet article pour faire de très fine lamelles (fruits et légumes) ne convient pas du tout à cette utilisation.

Great product. It works great with truffles of course but also good with chocolate.
