My Doctor wanted me to take a pharmaceutical statin and I refused. I told him I don't take drugs, there must be something natural I could take and he suggested Red yeast Rice 1200 mg per day along with CoQ10 2 times a day. I read that one of the prescription drugs for high cholesterol has CoQ10 in it, but the pharmaceutical companies don't disclose that information. My cholesterol is good as long as I take the Red Yeast Rice, exercise and watch my diet. It also helps lower triglycerides. I have been taking Red Yeast Rice for 10 yrs or more.

Great value compared to other brands

I take 2 of these nightly along with 1 CoQ10 which I also bought on Amazon. A doctor told me instead of taking a statin prescription which I could not tolerate, to take this combo and it works the same way without all the side effects of a statin.

It is a good herb and probably it help lower the cholesterol

I have been taking Red Rice Yeast for my cholesterol health several years at my osteopathic doc’s recommendation.I can’t talk about the science but I can say, the capsule and color red (without dyes) looks healthier than what I was taking, has a much fresher look and NOW has a very good reputation so I thought I’d give it a try. I will be a regular customer.
