Says it's for a 1988 johnson but does not have the correct connections for an 88 johnson

Was hesitant to purchase bed on reviews. Fits great throttle was sticking had to disassemble the control at the lake, turns out one lever inside the controller was not installed in the correct position. Was a simple fix however not something for everyone to do. Wires are color coded correctly to my 93 120hp evinrude simple cut splice solder . Also they didn't. Emotion the duty, was an extra 14 dollars. But overall decent, saved 800 by purchasing this one over oem
