Solid heavy duty batteries used for video/photography LED lights.
Bought these to use with my Yongnuo YN360 light wand, but I quickly realized they were too heavy to be practical. So I ended up using the batteries with my Yongnuo video light and they have performed beautifully. The batteries arrived quickly and were easy to open. Simple instructions and sparse packaging kept things simple. It took a couple of hours to charge both batteries completely, but considering their heft, I was not surprised. Once charged, I attached one to my YN360 and realized that the added weight made it hard to comfortably use the light wand. So I then switched it over to my video light and it was perfect. It powered my light on full power for the entire evening that I used it. I fully expected to need to use both batteries during my project, but I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to.So far, I have not has any issues with the batteries or the charger. The price is very reasonable and I might just buy another set so that I have backups. I would certainly recommend the DSTE batteries for anyone who has purchased one of Yongnuo's light systems that requires a Sony style NP-FXXX battery. Just keep in mind, this is a higher capacity battery and therefore is larger and heavier that some of the other batteries. If you want something lighter, I would go with the DSTE NP-F550 which are great.

Some of the best Sony NPF style batteries I've used!
These batteries are great!! Been using them for two months now and they work perfectly fine, and last just about as long as the Sony batteries. I HIGHLY recommend them. I had TWO of the units lose their little silver ring where the batteries connect to your device, told the seller DSTE, and the IMMEDIATELY sent me not one, but TWO replacements for free!!! And I didn't even have to send the defective ones back! They let me keep em (even thought they can't be charged, still that's awesome customer service)!! These batteries are great, the ONLY thing I wish they had was some sort of carrying pouch or even better a hard small case to put these in. Something like the think tank cable management v10 type bag. Don't look elsewhere get these batteries and be happy for a long time. Again two months deep and haven't had a problem with these batteries. They last quite a long time (about 7-8 hours on an Aputure HC198 light, 1.5hrs on my video devices PIX-E5.)

Well Made Batteries For The Money
The batteries seem fine so far. I have not had a chance to run them for too long in the YONGNUO YN300 III LED light that I bought it for, but so far, they seem fine. I believe it's a good value by getting two batteries at this price. Even if they don't last as long as the Sony brand, both batteries are less than one Sony NP-F970 which I own for my Sony camcorder. I gave this 4 stars because of the charger. The only thing that I don't like about the batteries is the charger which needs to go in a strip rather than the wall because the battery is so heavy. If it would stay in a wall socket, I would have given it 5 stars.

Best bang for the buck
Fitment, and functionality meet expectations, though capacity is not on par with the $125 OEM Sony battery it is close enough and does exceed the OEM F950's . On camera the battery level indicator is not as accurate as the OEM Sony battery, when it gets to 1/2 charge you will see an accelerated discharge rate. Again a nonissue if you are aware of it. I charge on my Sony charger and it charges as quickly as the OEM Sony with charge time and level indicator being pretty accurate, but if you need to use the supplied charge, expect it to take over night to fully charge a dead battery. If you want the performance of the OEM Sony you will have to pay for it. But for the price this does exactly what it is designed to do.

Well worth the money.
Great battery great charger, I even use the charger for my smaller NP-F550 batteries because this one will fully charge them. The only reason it does not get a 5 star rating is because it takes several hours to charge these things. So you really need to plan ahead if you are going to use them. It took me about 4 days to charge 2 of NP-F970's and 4 of the NP F550's. But on the plus side, I get about 4 to 5 hours of usage on my Feelworld FW760 7" IPS Ultra-thin monitor to which my 550's will only get about half that.

Great batteries but terribly slow charger - which is okay.
Great batteries, but I should have gotten the faster charging options. I read a review that complained that the quick chargers were slow, do i went with this cheaper one. Shame on me. Nothing could be slower than this. It isn't misleading. This is the old school twelve hour slow trickle type charger that we all had growing up. I would just get the faster option. Even if it takes a few hours on the faster ones, that is still fast compared to this. If you don't mind, then this works great. Just slow.

Cant beat the price / performance.
I knew these batteries were the real thing when first handling them, they are not hollow as some other NP-F9XX batteries. They are heavy.I placed both of them in a Cowboy Studio 360 LED camera light after charging them in my own charger after it showed 100% charge on both of them. These two batteries powered the light at full power for over 4 hours. I took the batteries out and checked the charge level on my charger. showed 25%.I didnt check out the included charger, probably works OK.How can you beat this price / performance combination, and with their own charger to boot!Do a search for "Watson Dual Charger" for this type battery, its the one I used to charge these batteries.

Worked great on my first trial, Last a reasonable amount of time, but take a long time to charge.
So, I am pretty stoked for these. I bought 2 LED panels for Video Shoots...but they were used and had no power cord. Then I looked into the V-mount batteries and they are SO EXPENSIVE. So I found a V-mount adapter and ordered these to power the LED panel. It takes two of these batteries to run one LED Panel. So I bought 4 batteries total which is good because I got two chargers.Well they last about 5 hours on half power for a 12 X 12 LED light panel which was pretty great. I will warn you thought these take a LONG time to charge. Don't think you will be quickly charging them and cycling them while the other ones are being used...You will need more time. I was not keeping close track....but I think they took maybe about 10 hours before the green light came on.I only used them on one shoot so far so I will update everyone in a few months.*Update #1 - I had another long shoot yesterday and the other set of batteries that I bought lasted around 5 hours as well so they are fairly consistent so far...again you will need a really long time to charge these....but I am happy so far.I will use them for awhile and do another update when I get to using them consistently.

Charger doesn't appear to fully charge the batteries
I ran the charger for hours, both in my vehicle and on AC and it has either a very low charge rate or none at all. I took one of the two batteries that I was charging (they were both at half charge) and put them on the original AC charger which showed them still at half charge. Within 20 minutes they were charged up on the Atomos charger, but didn't appear to be taking a charge on the DSTE charger. Hence the low rating. The primary reason I made this purchase was so that I could charge my NP-F batteries in my vehicle, but that doesn't look like it's possible now.Update: After writing this review they sent me a new charger free of charge. This new charger appears to work correctly and I have updated my ranking accordingly. However, it does not appear to fully charge the batteries. I left them on the charger over night and it appeared to have a full charge. When I placed the batteries on the Atomos charger it appeared that they only had 3/4 charge. I'm not sure where the issue is, but the Atomos charger appears to do a better job. These chargers might be useful if you need to charge more than one battery at a time, and then place the partially charged battery on a different charger to top it up (Atomos in my case).

2 very large batteries and AC wall charger that includes a car charger
2 batteries and a charger, that works great. I had some others that didn't and this brand from this vendor is working very well.Thank you to this vendor, amazing customer service. If you have one of the small 7" monitors like Lilliput from Amazon, these batteries and charger are what you need. You get 2 large batteries, a charger that works on AC ( you plug it into the wall ) and they also supply you with a car adapter to charge in the car using the cigarette lighter port.

In middle of testing... but seem great!!
Did some tests... charged to full then mounted them on my LED panels and timed their life... at full wattage... 3 hours each. Recharged... tried on my second LED panel at full... both lasted for 3 hours. I will continue to test so I can feel confident before taking to an actual paid shoot. But feel pretty good so far!
