OEDO-KOH - Pine Tree 60 Sticks w/Incense Holder by NIPPON KODO, Japanese Quality Incense

The quality of the fragrance is exquisite! Not too strong, not at all weak, burns about 15 minutes but folks the room with fragrance. No notes of pine, in my opinion, but a perfume that I've never smelled and yet reminds me of the past. The burner is gorgeous, too. I'm in love!

some incense can be overpowering but not this one. the scent is delicate and soft. i appreciate that the incense sticks are shorter than usual so that burn time is less. this also keeps the fragrance from becoming too much. the packaging is beautiful and meticulously done. while this incense is on the expensive side, it's worth it. with 60 sticks i will use it sparingly but am truly enjoying it. i will definitely buy this again, both for myself and for a friend who also does zen sitting.

These small sticks are quite fragrant, enough to fill a room. And for the price I think it's worth it. I like the scent. It's nearly impossible to describe smells unless you have a common reference. Does this remind me of an ancient bath house? When I visit one for the first time I will update my review.

These small sticks are perfect for leaving a lingering scent. The longer incense sticks end up giving me a headache if I let it burn too long. As for the scent, not my favorite. It smelled heavy and perfumy, a little woody. But maybe that’s bc I have a hyper-sensitive nose and I find most incense to be overpowering.

this incense provides an incredible sensuous experience. The sticks are small, about 1/4 the size of an average stick, but for if you’re looking for quality this is it. I was sent the wrong scent - the “bath drops” or whatever, not pine, but I love it so much I could hardly care.

If you are a fan of high quality Japanese incense, The Oedo Koh line of incense from Nippon Kodo is a nice option to try. This is short stick luxury incense, it burns about 10-12 minutes. The Pine Tree Scent is a pure and subtle green forest fragrance. Excellent for meditation or just enjoyment of the finer things in life.

Overpriced! Hardly any scent at all. Each stick burns away within minutes. The only thing that it's got going for it, is it's very nicely packaged.

Wonderful smell, kind of a mature pine with a little herbal sweetness but not heavy in the air. Very clean and pleasant.

Honestly when i saw the size of the sticks i was hesitant but they definitely can make your room smell a lot better. i love the earthy kinda smell these give off, it's quite nice.

Bought this on a whim since I have always been fond of incense that has an earthy forest smell and this one does not disappoint. The packaging is cute and small with a tiny metal incense holder inside for the small sticks which linger a long time in our home. I would also recommend this as a small gift since the packing and wood box make for a neat surprise to open and smell.

Burns way too fast and smells like campire, not in a good way in my opinion, it smells a lot just like smoke.
