Love the versatility of this product. If your Alexa dependant though please read the full review
Love the versatility of this product. Its not just seen on Alexa as an input as you can configure various 'scenes' and there are a lot of options however there is a Maximum amount under the free account of 3 scenes to trigger Alexa so to create an input option which latches on then off I had to use 2 of my 3 scenes up that said the premium upgrade is only around 35euros for the year which comes with lots of added extras.

Constantly disconnects and barely works
Very disappointing product. The device constantly disconnects and loses connection, and the app is also extremely unreliable. It freezes, hangs and often simply does not work. I spend more time trying to reconnect or restart everything than actually using the device. Overall, a very frustrating experience and definitely not what I expected from Shelly.

Difficult to program
I have no idea if this product works or not. Incredibly difficult to set up even when I enlisted the help of someone much more tech savvy than me. It obviously must work but it’s not as easy to set up as it should be.

useful and reliable
I got this to connect a 110v beam-break sensor (Seco-Larm E-931-S35RRQ) in order to automate the lights (via Home Assistant and Z-Wave) when walking into our TV room with no windows. It has been essentially flawless and responds instantly and reliably. We do on rare occasion find the lights on unexpectedly in that room, but I have every reason to believe that is more an issue with our sensor installation than with the Shelly.
