For the price of these, the paper should have been better or something. It seems to be priced according to what the market will bear, in that they are one of only a few manufacturers of these. Not suitable for long-term use.

Great size note pad. Fits in my purse and I keep one beside my computer for jotting down notes.Very handy size for me. The back is stiff enough to allow note taking without having the pad on a flat surface.

It was not wide enough for me. The picture looked like it was( in my opinion) but because I didn't read the dimensions,I have no use for this. Gave it four stars as it is good for someone who doesn't need it as wide as I do.

The cardboard backer, while not ultra-stiff, also isn't flimsy.

Very nice reporters notebook. Sturdy back and thick cover to protect the paper. The paper is ok... I like a thicker paper. I still think this is good value for the money.

Perfect everything and fits in any side pocket or jams in where ever. With this note book you are a pro. Add a pen or pencil and you are the hardcore citizen reporter. Great price - as advertised. Why do all the brick and mortar stores hire staff that seem to be trained to tell me to go buy products on line? I'd fire every single one of them. Impossible to find in stationary stores or order through their catalogs. Thanks, Amazon.

Back cover is pretty stiff, so gives a good base for writing. So convenient to be able to hold these in-hand while taking notes.
